Every once in a while life surprises you with things, peoples, places and spaces that become unforgettable. Most of the times the situations that make these memorable are quite simple, humble, yet they have a massive impact on you becoming instant memories not to say legendary.
“Daylesford Brewing Co” has been having a classic Tuesday Burger night and we were blessed (lucky us) by being at the right place at the right time; we had the most outstanding cheese burger in a long time! Delicious meat patties, cooked to perfection with a crunchy crust, covered impeccably with a layer of melted cheese, with pickles and onions and the perfect amount of sauces in a bed of deliciously toasted on the hot plate bread with a side of hot, freshly fried chips!!! I’m convinced that this humble burger should be amongst the top burgers IN THE WORLD.
All this deliciousness served with a pot of a magnificent Lager (from a vast selection of perfectly brewed ales) coming from the diligent hands and the top notch service only folks willing to demonstrate how much they love their job are capable of doing make this place a 10 out of 10!!
And the music!!! For Christ sake!!! The music!!! Giving this place in Daylesford an extremely hard to leave ambiance!! Its a shame Google reviews only allows you to give a maximum 5 stars as this place clearly deserves 6 not to say 7.

I've dined at countless establishments, sampling gourmet burgers that cost a pretty penny, but none have come close to the perfection I experienced at Daylesford Brewing Co. Their burger? Simply put, it's a masterpiece. The bun was soft, yet substantial, providing the perfect cradle for the symphony of flavors beneath. The Wagyu patty was juicy, the cheese was melted to perfection, and the pickle added just the right zing, balancing the gourmet with just enough junk-food nostalgia to make your taste buds dance.
But the delight didn't stop there. The chicken and leek croquettes were a revelation - crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful inside, they were a huge hit, especially with the kids.
Their beverage selection was equally impressive. The raspberry ice cream sour beer was an innovative twist that was both refreshing and complex, showcasing their brewing prowess. And let's not forget the porter - rich with chocolate notes, yet light enough to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed.
This place has a super chill vibe, From the burger that redefines what one can expect from this classic dish to the inventive drinks, every element was thought through to create a memorable dining moment. If you're in the area, you owe it to your palate to give this place a try, hidden Gem! Five stars,...
Read moreWhen we arrived for lunch on a beautiful autumn Sunday, I think we caught them on the hop (excuse the pun) as the chef hadn't yet arrived. All up it was quite a good experience but there were just a few things that took down the rating. The food was pleasant: 2 chicken burgers, a tofu burger and the mushroom risotto with rocket and walnuts. The chicken burgers were enjoyed to a point, in one the chicken was a tad underdone. The tofu burger passed muster but all three burger diners would have like more chips. The consensus on the chips was that they were cooked beautifully just not enough of them. The mushroom risotto was on the warm side of cold which was disappointing; the walnuts were salted and crunchy and the rocket added a peppery taste and clean texture to the plate. The services was a little ad hoc. Were the servers inexperienced? Anyway there was a lot of confusion; including the over charging on one round of drinks. This was quickly pointed out by the staff person and rectified immediately. While the day was beautiful it was quite cool in the room. The beers that were tasted were interesting and had a...
