I ordered two take away coffees and pancakes. I was told a 15 minute wait- that’s fine. The coffees arrived within a reasonable time and were delicious. The Baristas were also lovely. Unfortunately the waiting staff were not as accommodating- I waited 30 minutes for my take away pancakes without any communication from the staff about how long or reassuring me that they were coming. I had to ask three times and was offered a sandwich which I didn’t order. I waited blindly as the staff communicated with each other about what the issue was. Turns out my pancakes were mistakenly given to a lady before me and I was offered her sandwich (which had been sitting out for 10 minutes and had egg so I didn’t accept as I am vegan) I was offered a refund which I took, and a when ordering a raw slice instead it was given to me complimentary. I’m disappointed as I was excited to try the food. I understand it was busy however, communication with staff and customers would have been nice. I felt awkward Waiting and if I didn’t ask, I don’t think I would have been told. Hopefully my second visit goes more smoothly as the food does...

Staff were indolent, bordering on rude.

The woman taking the orders at the counter just stood there and waited for people to talk at her. We thought that she might have been catatonic. No pleasantness whatsoever.

We ordered breakfast for 2 tables, using the table numbers for the orders and had a constant stream of take away orders come and thrust at us by various staff members.

One of our party was admonished for ordering a coffee in a take away cup, "You know that's environmentally unfriendly, I'll have to charge you more!?" said "Karen". To which we said oh ok just put it in a normal cup then. When the coffee and breakfast came out both were in take away containers! If you want to be environmentally friendly don't offer take away service at all!

The one exception to this was a gentleman staff member who was quite lovely and conversational. It's a pity that the rest of the staff weren't a little bit more like him. Some of the food was very good and some was not good at all. Even if the food was exceptional we would rather spend our money elsewhere...

Gorgeous vegetarian meals. Very hospitable staff. Very accommodating. We arrived just before 2 pm and the cafe closes at that time. The waitress was very understanding and amazingly pleasant. The chef was more than happy to work back and cook us a magnificent meal, including pleasing a fussy 8 year old, a difficult 19 year old and two exhausted adults. Truly a magnificent experience. When most of Bright’s cafes are closing at 2 pm due to staff shortages, this was a breath of fresh air. We were turned away from more than five local cafeterias. For January 2021 this was very very disappointing. Wild Thyme was fabulous and well worth visiting. I sent the rest of the family (two young adult daughters, one with her fiancée, and a niece) to this beautiful cafe the next day. They have been raving about it ever since. This is well worth a visit and your support will be greatly appreciated. LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. I want to take it back to...

The staff here are super friendly. There was one girl that served us that looked like she was high on life the whole time; I want what she’s having! It’s a spacious cafe, and there’s plenty of seating space inside and out. We had just finished hiking and exploring Mount Buffalo so we’ve worked up an appetite. My Wife ordered the Beans, along with a Cacao Almond Crunch smoothie; and I ordered the Big Breaky and the Vegan Bulletproof Coffee, which was quite a unique treat! I highly recommend trying. The food came out at a reasonable time, given how busy they were, and the serving size was generous—we both felt quite satisfied by the end of the meal. We also bought a few raw treats for the road; they were OK but nothing to write home about. My only critique is that the tofu scramble could be a bit more seasoned as it was quite plain. Otherwise, definitely would come back and recommend as a great Cafe to visit in Bright for plant-based eaters.

Had brunch here during the school holiday season and they were very busy, short on staff but still warm customer service. We did not realize it was a vegetarian cafe until all the food came up still good flavour. It was a nice/ interesting experience. My partner had burger which made with beetroot he enjoyed it and I had big breakfast, too much thyme on mushroom, I wish the spinach was cooked not raw. In general the food was good just not our preferred type, still nice to try them. The cafe indoor seating are very nice, big communal table and heaps of small tables for 2-3 guests. Particularly love their outdoor seating with the open fireplace, super nice for the winter. There is undercover too. Will recommend for coffee and food if you love more vegetarian options.

My partner and I went to have breakfast here this morning as saw it was highly reviewed and busy. Had a few bites of our breakfast but unfortunately found a bug in amongst the avo and lost our appetite immediately at the thought of a bug being cooked in with our food. We told the waitress and asked for a refund as we didn’t eat much of it and the chef/owner came out to tell us the bug definitely wasnt cooked in the food and it must’ve fallen down from the sky… Pretty disappointed in how this was dealt with as despite barely touching our food, we were denied any resolution for being served a meal with a bug in it. $80 for breakfast with a bug in it.
