Just save yourself some time and money and go to GPO next door, its overpriced and the food and service is terrible.
The menu is severely downsided due to covid, that much is understandable, but I will never be returning to get a dinner here again.
The service was incredibly poor, it took multiple attempts to get the bartender to give us all 4 sodas we ordered, which is sad enough, but our entrees were served after our main meal, so we had some way too cheesy garlic bread for desert.
The food was honestly awful, I personally had the chicken schnitzel. The chicken was dry, the chips were tasteless, and the salad would have looked more presentable if they had bought a bag of salad from the Coles two minutes down the road. The gravy could also have easily been used as a replacement for Clag glue.
And to top off the evening, we had bought our own cake and asked that the staff please keep the lid for said cake behind the counter so we could take the rest of the cake home. Not only did we ask for the lid about 3 times, and were told they were getting someone onto it, after about 45 minutes my mother and I went up to the counter to ask for the lid back (please, its not hard), and both us and other customers witnessed them pull said lid out of the trash, rinse it, and start to dry it and hand it back to us.
In the middle of a pandemic? Really?
The staff, while being nice, seemed like they were all on their first shift and had no idea what they were doing. I'm honestly so sorry for these staff and all the other businesses who decided to go there for our Christmas breakups, it was so sad and not at all comparable to what they were like last year. Get some hospitality training, they do that at TAFE for free down at La Trobe, take a course or two, it's only three...

We ordered our food, which came one by one every10 mins, and there was no cutlery. A lady then approached us mid meal to say we were at her table.... She then had to be seated at the next table, very unorganised! Asked to speak to a manager to provide feedback the editor said he'd pass it on, the manager then came said nothing and walked off. Management doesn't care... Honestly have never had dining experience as bad as this, felt sorry for the 1 staff member dealing with everyone's complaints. Waste of money, honestly...
