In reference to your reply to Stephanie about her review and your reply making the comment on what I said as her mother. We did have to wait 40 mins for our drinks and we all agreed that we felt the cocktails contained little or no alcohol. Steph decided she was going to say something. We would have said something had the staff come back to the table to check on our drinks. I agree it was busy but even I would say it was abit out there to have to wait 40 mins for our drinks. Steph was cross - I don't know what transpired between her and the bar staff when steph approached them about her cocktail but I believe that if a customer is unhappy, then it is up to the bar staff to ensure the customer is happy. I don't condone any unpleasantness to hospitality staff but the evening was ruined by the entire incident. The staff member came to our table with the fresh cocktails and made it quite clear she wasn't happy with Steph's comment about the cocktail which I believe exacerbated the situation. As soon as you step into the Precinct it offers you a warm atmosphere, then to be greeted by very friendly staff let's you know that our dinning experience is going to be a fantastic time. The menu caters for everyone and have now been back so many times that have almost tried all meals on the menu and all I can say is get ready to drool from so much flavour. To wash all of that delicious food down was a massive 16 beers to chose from regular beer, craft and cider as well as offering a big range of local award winning white and red wines, way to go by supporting local business. To top it all off sitting out on the back terrace of either a beautiful afternoon overlooking the gumtrees and ovens river all while enjoying a couple of drinks with friends relaxes you to the core after a big day or week at work. 10/10 will come back over and over again. Not bad. Nice place and nice location, however the food fell short. The gravy on this dish was INCREDIBLY salty, like someone had dumped a bucket load of chicken salt into the batch. While it didn't make the dish totally inedible, it was on top of everything but the pork, which took some of the attention off the slightly undercooked vegetables.

The staff's attitude and service were okay, but it felt as if we weren't wanted there. I understand from working in hospitality that staff can be like that sometimes, but we didn't even get a smile. I'm stuck between 2 stars and 3 stars, but the thing that single-handedly saved this review from a 2 star, would be the presentation of the food. The presentation was fantastic!

I will probably be back in the future to give this restaurant another go and to update this review. Maybe I was there on a bad day?...
