Unfortunately our food wasn’t great. The Chilli scrambled eggs was pretty much a mushy mess. Not only did it not look appealing with the bacon and whatever else cooked into the egg, to eat it, it wasn’t nice. The bread was very poorly toasted on one side only leaving it immediately soggy. Also it seemed that anything chilli related was only squirted around the outside of the plate and not on the actual dish. The scrambled eggs on toast resembled my mums old school way of cooking them with milk in them. They came out mushy, very pale and not very eggy. The toast was toasted but soggy because of the mushiness of the eggs. I wish I took a photo! Someone else in our party enjoyed the chicken burger. Except for chicken nuggets and chips, there wasn’t any kids meals options which was also a pain for us leaving it fair more expensive than anticipated. Overall...

I had breakfast at Home Cafe with friends today. We were all very happy with our food. I had the smashed avo which was perfect. Coffee was great, nice and smooth, especially since I was trying decaf for the first time. Barely noticed a difference. Great service too, as I forgot to order my second coffee as a decaf, and the lady remembered my first order (about an hour and a half earlier) and double checked with me. I was hesitant upon entering but when I entered I felt immediately at home “coffee”. The service was incredible. Everything was well priced and I was able to chose a meal that suited my appetite and price range. I had a delicious chicken burger that tasted incredible, the pairing of flavours was immaculate.
