It's just ok. They've tried to copy KFC but KFC tastes much better and these guys aren't that much cheaper by comparison either, so not even that good value of money. I tried it out of curiosity and that's where I'll leave it be.
EDIT: Wow, I have never seen this kind of proud & arrogant behaviour on full display from any other business owner in my life. I have seen many stubborn and blidly proud people in my life, but to actually go out of your way and rudely reply every single critical comment on your business is something extraordinary. After receiving the owner's reply to my "feedback" I checked other reviews out of curiosity and I am appalled to see how this owner thinks of himself and his product as nothing else but perfect and if anyone doesn't like it then he even calls them liars and tells them to never return. He comes across as a fanatic person and I wonder where he refers to me as "mate" in his reply, if this was an Islamic country he might have even called me a "Kafir" for praising KFC. I understand that you're selling Halal chicken and it drives your costs up so your product is expensive but why you simply can't accept a feedback about your product's taste and texture not being the best? I have recently tried other fried chicken places such as Red Rooster & Chicken Treat and Chicken Treat is actually my new favourite fried chicken, what would you say about that? I am not your enemy, I don't even know you. Despite of not loving your fried chicken, I still gave 3stars, but you are so blind in pride & arrogance (sin of KIBR in Arabic) that you will only accept 5stars!?! Other people have complained about your product being dry and your response is simply to tell them not to return. Instead of thinking how can you improve, you just want to think the World is your enemy and you will only accept praise from people and nothing else. If you want to accept the compliments then learn to accept the criticism as well. Always try to improve, not only in business but also as a person. Never think that you're perfect. Anybody can make a mistake on a given day. Accepting the criticism and trying to improve is the only way to be a better person tomorrow compared to how good you were yesterday....
Read moreCan you imagine that you would end up calling police to report the restaurant staff instead of simply being able to buy food for your kids from a take away? That's what happened today with my wife as she placed an order which was keyed in different by mistake by the cashier. Complaining over the counter about the incorrect order resulted in a prolonged argument by the rude staff (cashier girl and may be her manager) with my wife with both staff members insisting to prove her wrong instead of simply offering a replacement of the order. However another lady from the staff intervened and offered a replacement, but the other two continued the argument, disappointed with their behaviour my wife refused to receive food and walked out of the take away. Can you imagine that as she was driving outside of the shopping complex the manager/owner (who ever he is) came running and opened the moving car's door and threw money (including metal coins) inside the car, even he could see that there were kids sitting inside the car with the mum. initially she panicked but eventually controlled the car and drove back and asked him why did he opened the door while the car was in motion? That person replied that he wanted to return the money as he considers himself answerable to Allah (God), and at the same time he simply risked injury to three little kids and their mother by creating a total panic situation for the driver. We called the police and explained what happened. They told us that they would persue the matter accordingly. I mean does that make sense to open the car door like that? You could have returned the money at that point in time when she refused to receive the food over the counter or they could have cancelled the credit card transaction. I believe that was arrogant and threatening behaviour by that person with a deliberate effort to make an unhappy customer feel more bad by rudely throwing money at her. Read morePoor customer service from the counter. Sulky and attitude throughout the ordering...The line was not that long, however the cashier wasnt doing her job well. We weren't greeted with a smile and when we ordered the meal, I wasnt aware that the drinks are not included cos this is my first time. The menu said MEAL. So obvious I assume a meal should include drinks like KFC OR MACCAS. Well cashier didn't make any offer to top up for drinks for $3.50 or whatever. So I ordered J.ChickPop Meal which was supposed to be a Junior Meal. I even pointed at the photo. But I was served without the Ribena drinks and chips for my boys..when my husband asked about the drinks, she said that I didn't place any order for meal. For God's Sake, my husband was beside me when I ordered. He heard what I ordered. We are very disappointed with the service. learn to greet and smile to customers like those wonderful people at Chocking Applecross. Please buck up your services.
Btw TO THE MANAGER ; my son drew at the back of the receipt. And didn't vandalised on Ur table like U claimed it to be. Even if there is any markings it would be just one of two pencil marks.
