Bentley Motel — Hotel in Bentley

Have stayed here before and enjoyed my stay so thought I would stay here again. The room was clean and tidy and had nice facilities.||||The last time I stayed here I was in one of the back units but this time I was in one of the units much closer to Albany Highway. Naturally being a lot closer to Albany Highway the first thing you start to become aware of is the increase in traffic noise. The traffic noise was much greater than my experience last time and to make matters worse some night time road work was being conducted close by. Someone was using what sounded like a concrete cutting saw at various times through the night and early morning. No sooner had I managed to start getting to sleep when all of sudden it would start up again. Yes I know that Bentley Motel has no control over what happens outside of their property but it made for a couple of very sleep interrupted nights. Yes I also know what you are thinking. Why didn’t I just ask for another room? Well the sign out the front of the Motel at the time stated “No vacancies” and judging by the number of cars packed in on the premises that was probably correct.||||Some lights in my room did not work. Doesn’t anyone check that all lights etc are working before making the room available?||||In the “About” section on Tripadvisor it states that “Café Rica is now open” I was informed that Café Rica which is part of Bentley Motel has been closed since August 2020. Last time I stayed here the café was open and I use to enjoy the convenience of having a hearty breakfast at the café before starting the day.||||A trough with fountain heads just near the office was a half to three quarters full of what looked like very stagnant water. Not a good look for something right at the front entrance! ||||Would I stay...

I am very familiar with this Motel, having stayed here several times. |It is a lovely spot in prime position on Albany Highway. With the Leach Hwy overpass quite close and Carousel Shopping Centre down the road, it is a perfect haven for a shopper stayover. The rooms are very nice with clean and tidy presentation. The decor is modern and chic with a fully equipped kitchenette down to the fridge, kettle, microwave, cutlery and plates. Has a selection of tea and coffee sachets.||The beds I have always found to be very comfortable and the bathrooms don't seem that small due to the clever layout. I always appreciate that there is a hairdryer attached to the bathroom wall (in case I forget mine).|I also really like that in the rooms I have stayed in has a charging port near the bed, so handy!||They have a mix of rooms and there is good parking, although the swimming pool is tucked behind a fence (I always forget its there).||The restaurant is closed for business but it is very easy to go out to eat as the locale is spoilt for choice in the wide variety of hospitality venues.|I know that they also have a laundry for guests, though I have not used it.||The best thing I like about it is: the staff. |Everyone from the front desk and the housekeeping is stellar and work hard so you can enjoy your stay.
