Overall rating after two visits: 4.5/5 (edging into 5)- Edited after visiting the 3rd time
I won’t beat around the bush about this one. This is definitely one of the best bakehouses in and around Perth, and I say that after having visited (and reviewed) quite a lot of them.
Now, on to the review.
As soon as you enter, you’re welcomed by a lush sea of greens, with a stunning lime tree at the center and another shading a cozy seating area. It truly feels like stepping into a meadow. The ambience is extraordinary — a solid 6/5. On a sunny morning, it’s hard to leave.
What We Tried: Butter Croissant – Light, buttery, and perfectly flaky. A classic done right. 4.5/5 Apple Tarte Tatin – Not as flaky as I expected, but flavorful and satisfying. 4/5 Mortadella Focaccia Toastie – As a focaccia lover and baker myself, this could use a lift. The potential is huge, especially with their quality setup. A bit more finesse, and it could be a standout. 3.5/5 Canelé – Beautifully crispy on the outside and custardy within. A real treat. 4.5/5 Raspberry croissant: Delicious. Flaky. A tang to balance the richness of that dark chocolate. 5/5 Focaccia: Quite good. Fresh marinara. Good crust. 4/5
Coffee:
Smooth and enjoyable. Could be elevated with a mini sweet on the side like a financier or cookie. 4/5
Service:
A little slow with the drinks, but otherwise polite and attentive. 4/5
Final Thoughts:
A strong 4.5, but rounded off to 4/5 due to the toastie and slight lag in coffee service. That said, I’ll definitely be back, and I’d be happy to bump the rating up if the toastie gets the love it deserves.

Read moreThe prices are a lot higher then surrounding bakeries which I don’t mind as the bread is nice. However the service is appalling. On multiple visits the customer service we have received has been really poor. In one instance the cashier who served the person in front of us of was full of smiles and talking about the weather…etc. when it was time to serve us they didn’t bother even asking us how we were, even when we tried to initiate conversation. They always seem abrupt and in a rush to get us out of the store. If their service was better I would definitely wouldn’t paying for...
Read moreAmong the best coffee providores you can find in the area right now. I also enjoy their pastries. Hot crossed buns at Easter time were delicious. Occasionally I will purchase a jar of jam or olive oil, all high quality goods. This bakery is more of a grab-n-go set up. Get your coffee fix and a pastry on the way to or from the beach or gym. Walk your dog here: pet-friendly with a water bowl out front. Keen gardeners should pop by, sometimes they have used coffee grinds in a bucket for you to scoop up and add to...
