I normally don't post reviews but have to as we are very annoyed as this seems to be happening more and more.
So we haven't been to HJ's for a while and thought it's time to give it a go again.
We ordered 2 x grilled chicken burgers, large chips & onion rings plus one kids meal with nuggets. Told to wait as onion rings were cooking. Which is fine, so we did.
Then were given the food minus the kids meal....so husband went in, to be told 'oh the car behind you had same order'.
He got the kids meal (after having to wait again), jumped back in car and we drove home.
Looking forward to our lunch only to unpack it to find this is what we got: 2 x Vegan burgers 1 x large chips 1 x small chips 1 large onion rings
Good to see the car behind had the same meal š
HJ's management you really need to get onto the training of staff with customer service and getting the orders correct.
Stop trying to meet those targets/kpi's to get the food delivered asap!!!
This is why the mistakes are happening as this is not the first time for us at this store, hence my review being posted. There seems to be a lack of care.
Note to all.. do we really have to unpack our orders to check it is correct?
Because next time we drive thru we will be unpacking our orders (in drive thru) to check our order and unfortunately cars behind will have to wait!!
We were very disappointed š
Also to those that were wondering did we eat the meal.... Yes we did.... just to see what a vegan burger tastes like as by the time we would drive back to change order, there goes another 45 minutes in our day which we can't afford to lose!!
So the verdict on the Vegan burger is.... we would not waste our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I had just downloaded the Hungry Jack's app and was travelling past HJ,s and went about seeing what value was with the app. ok bingo junior whopper meal small $5, I'll get 2 of those, walk in get to the counter and was greeted with a snare from a young fella of PAKISTANI decent, yeah whatever, hey mate can I get 2 of these meal deals on the app,,Straight up NO,I asked why not? He says ,I'm telling you now man you must be ordering and paying this things thru your phone, I said I'm right in front of you and I've got cash in my hand,,he turns away and drags his knuckles back to the table where he was mastering the single fold on a paper serviettes, I got a hold of the manager and he explained that the app and hungry jacks are separate ok thank you and btw the Pakistani man that served me was rude in overall interaction, the manager says I'm thanking you kindly very much thanking you sir, he walks over to the master paper serviettes folder and speaks to him in I think a Northern Pakistani dialect and says WHO ,WHO say these words and I responded in Australian English with, ME.....you know who you are young man ,if you don't like your job, maybe burgers aren't you thing maybe roti, chappatti, roti or palak paneer is, Secondly your in Australia, your working with other Australians and your serving Australians our primary language is ENGLISH our second language is whatever you want at home, it's conveniently spoken when a 3rd party is not ment hear,it lowers moral with your team members, as it brings o feelings of being undermined,it was a crap experience, change or retrain the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Hungry Jacks in Cockburn on Tuesday night after a fun ice skating session, only to have my evening completely ruined by what was unquestionably the worst fast-food experience of my life. I ordered a Whopper, a classic that I've enjoyed countless times in the past. However, what I received was far from the standard I expected.
The Whopper I was served had a stale bun that tasted like it had been sitting around for hours. The meat was inexplicably cold, as if it had been pulled from a fridge rather than cooked fresh. The condiments and vegetables were far from fresh, lacking the crispness and flavor that should accompany a burger of this caliber. It was a culinary disaster that I never thought I'd experience at Hungry Jacks.
To add insult to injury, when placing my order, the staff assured us that their shake machine was in working order. But when we arrived at the window eagerly anticipating a delicious shake to salvage our meal, we were told that the machine was out of service. It was the final blow to an already disappointing meal.
This entire experience not only left a bitter taste in my mouth but also ruined my week. I wish there was an option to give this place 0 stars, as it would be well-deserved in this case. I hope that Hungry Jacks Cockburn takes this feedback to heart and strives to improve the quality of their food and the accuracy of their service in the future. Fast food should be a reliable and enjoyable experience, but sadly, this visit was...
