Hungry Jack's Burgers Ellenbrook Central — Restaurant in Western Australia

Since recently indulging in Hungry Jack's, I have been enamoured. Enthralled. Perhaps even in awe. Their whoppas is my everything, and I yearn for it as I know that I personally cannot perfect it the way the people behind the counters of the kitchen location, (who are true purveyors of fine foods), can do. The whoppa is so simple, yet so exquisite. So humble, yet brash. So recognizable, yet unique.

Mr. Jack takes ingredients so basic and masters their places in the dish, as they dance smoothly en route to tie the entire experience together. While the crunch of the toast and the comforting warmth of the patty are the two sensations I recognize immediately, the robust taste of the ever-so classic cheese slice is admittedly the first taste that hits my tongue.

Many people with inexperienced palates call whoppas "overwhelming" or "overrated", but I say nay. Because soon thereafter, the savory tomato from a little place called tomato plant, takes centre stage. Hand-in-hand with the grilled whoppa patty and the perfectly heated bun, these main components eloquently give you that base that makes you think "this is not only the pinnacle of fine dining but also a substantial dish that will help me start off my day just right".

In the middle, you get a bit of the bite from the lettuce, which gives you reassurance that you eat healthily. Your body is a temple, right?

Disappointing customer service. I ordered a small Whopper Meal and a '3 nuggets and chips cup'. Upon inspection the cup didn't seem that full considering it was meant to be a medium portion. I asked the guy at the front (I feel he was the manager) and said the chips don't look that full. He glanced at it and said that was the medium portion. The guy then turned to me and said what did you want him to do. I said it didn't seem like a medium portion (especially because it was the same as the small chips in the bag). A woman then chimed in and said that was a medium portion size. I have attached photos of what it looked like, as well a side by side of the portion size I was given (left hand side) and the small chips that came with my Whopper meal (right hand side). The food was what you would expect and the store is literally only 5 days old so it is so disappointing that the customer service is so bad. They could have added a few more chips but they didn't care nor even acknowledged why I wasn't happy with my order. I left without a fuss or comment but when my daughter asked for chicken nuggets after school I went to the KFC next door. I hope...

I recently ordered from Hungry Jack's via the Menu Log app and was disappointed with the delivery service. I took my meal to the Ellenbrook branch and was served by Imogen, who went above and beyond to rectify the situation, despite it not being her fault.
