To whom this may concern I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration in regarding the lack of wheelchair-accessible entry at your Hungry Jack’s Innaloo location. This issue has had a profound negative impact on my child, who uses a wheelchair, and has significantly affected his self-confidence.
On a recent visit, we discovered that there was no suitable way for my child to enter the premises safely and independently. What should have been an enjoyable family outing turned into a distressing experience that highlighted the barriers he faces in everyday situations.
The emotional toll of being excluded from a simple activity like dining out is substantial. My child felt singled out and marginalized, leading to feelings of embarrassment and a diminished sense of self-worth.
Accessibility is not merely a matter of convenience; it is a fundamental right. Ensuring that all individuals, regardless of physical ability, can access public spaces is essential for fostering an inclusive and equitable community.
I urge Hungry Jack’s Innaloo to take immediate action to address this issue by implementing appropriate accessibility measures, such as installing ramps and automatic doors. Such improvements would not only comply with legal standards but also demonstrate a commitment to serving all members of the community.
I have also brought this matter to the attention of the City of Stirling, as they play a crucial role in overseeing public infrastructure and ensuring compliance with accessibility regulations.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this matter further and offer any assistance in facilitating these...
Read moreMy wife ordered an iced coffee. While a staff member was preparing her drink, she witnessed him placing his finger into the coffee. When she confronted him about this, asking why he had done so, he responded with a laugh and stated that he was "checking the temperature."
My wife was understandably appalled and immediately requested to speak with the manager. She explained the situation, and the manager's only response was to offer to remake the coffee, offering a simple "sorry."
We found this response entirely inadequate. We are deeply concerned about this incident, especially given the staff member's blatant disregard for basic food handling and hygiene practices. We also felt that the manager’s response minimized the seriousness of the issue, which we found highly disturbing.
This incident has severely undermined our trust in your restaurant and your training system. As frequent customers of Hungry Jack's, we are extremely disappointed.
We demand that you take this matter seriously and implement immediate, strict action. We consider this a significant hygiene and customer service violation.
Please be advised that we intend to report this incident to 7 News and 9 News. We believe this behavior is unacceptable and needs to...
Read moreHorrible customer service. My friend, a young high school girl went in to get a whopper cheese junior meal, and when the manager called whopper cheese she went to collect the order thinking it was hers. She went down to sit and began drinking her coke only to pick up the whopper and realise it was a regular sized one without cheese. Not wanting to cause a scene, she thought that the order was just incorrect and decided to go with the flow and eat it. The manager (young south Asian female) came out and rudely asked who “Ella” was and saying that she had been calling her name out for ages which was an exaggeration. My friend politely said to the manager that she thought she got the wrong order and explained that when she called out “whopper cheese” she genuinely thought it was her’s. She said has bad social anxiety and felt uncomfortable going back up to return the order after she had already started eating. The manager snatched the food out of her hand, saying “there is no way YOU have social anxiety”. Mocking her and tried to embarrass her in-front of everyone in the workplace. This was unacceptable. My friend now no longer feels comfortable going...
