Hungry Jack's Burgers Wanneroo — Restaurant in Western Australia

I have never been happy with this Hungry Jacks- I chose it tonight as I was home late from work and hadn't eaten in 10 hours, and thought that maybe they had gotten better in 18 months.

They haven't.

Presentation is appalling, items are missing (such as mayonnaise and pickles) from burgers altogether, as has always been the case, the fries are sub par... withered and brown...

But the worst thing is the cruddy customer service. The girl who audibly sighs at you (in frustration, I suppose), when you ask for a moment to look at the menu. She asked me to move to the NEXT window. I did... waited, no one greeted me... But there was a til, so I waiting, just in case. When the case in front of me was driving away, she threw her hand out the window and snapped/clicked her fingers at me to get me to drive forward. I was always taught that particular movement was insanely rude in a hospitality (And, in fact, any) environment, and having worked bars, would never do it to anyone else. Still, might be nothing.

No eye contact, another audible sigh (I stress, she wasn't sad, just impatient... despite the fact that I had the money out and ready before I got to the window so there was nothing to wait for...), 40 cents change dropped in my hand and food (already lukewarm) thrust out in the rain.

You know... You don't notice when customer service is acceptable.

You notice when it's exceptional- and it brightens your day.

But you definitely notice when over the course of a drive thru, someone makes you feel like an inconvenience and a waste of time.

Poor form, HJs Wanneroo.

Alright, so I have been to many Hungry Jacks here in WA and Burger King overseas. Usually going through the drive through late at night is hit and miss, usually miss, and not very fresh and more times than not, soggy and Luke warm. Not this place, first of all my app shut me out before I clicked on the $2 large chips. I showed the female server and joked that I was too slow, so she said it wasn't a problem and they would provide more chips for that price. The whopper with cheese came out with 3 boxes of fresh, very hot and crispy chips. The whopper had just come off the broiler and no microwave used. It was hot and very flavorful and juicy. The lettuce, tomato and onions were extremely fresh, crunchy and tasty. Go here for your whopper and chips fix. The female server was friendly, helpful, very neat and tidy and well spoken, providing exceptional customer service and they really showed that providing an amazing food product is what they are all about. Go here if you want an amazing experoence. Well done hungry jacks, my faith in the whopper and chips has been restored...finally. I didn't even have to ask them to make sure everything was fresh.... Food was ok but they were taking orders with a pencil and paper, the girl on drive thru wasnt very polite said 'is that it" 3 times in my order manner dont cost a thing. Like in said food was fun cos they are making it when you pull up to pay due to the pencil and paper.

Updated review I have since been twice since my original review first visit resulted in the wrong meal... second visit I didn't get to order because for 10 minutes I stood a the counter without even eye contact from the 3 staff working on the counter.

This place has some of the worst customer service ever from 3 stars to 1 dont waste your time.

Update: against better judgement we stopped in here on.the way home today, it is incocivable to me how people can do so poorly on such a simple task. All out orders where wrong! I would call and complain but the managers don't care obviously as the service has only continued to go down hill since...
