⭐ 1 Star – WORST Chinese Restaurant Experience in Mandurah – Cold Food, No Refund, Disgusting Service

This is the worst Chinese restaurant in Mandurah. I’ve been a loyal customer of Mei Jing Mandurah with my family for over 15 years, and what used to be a good local Chinese restaurant has turned into an absolute disgrace.

Our recent takeaway order was delayed, then when it finally arrived it was COLD, overcooked, and completely tasteless. The meat was hard like rubber, the food was unpleasant, and we had to throw it all away.

When we called to complain, we were ignored. A refund was promised but never delivered, and no one bothered to follow up. This is unprofessional and unacceptable.

The front counter staff clearly don’t understand orders, make constant mistakes, and speak poor English, making the entire process frustrating. This is not just bad service, it’s no service at all.

This restaurant has gone from being a family favorite to a rip-off with terrible customer service, horrible food quality, and no accountability. Overpriced, careless, and a total waste of money.

Warning to all new customers: if you’re searching for the best Chinese food in Mandurah, Mei Jing is NOT the place. Cold food, rude staff, and zero customer care.

I genuinely hope health inspectors check this place because from what we experienced, it would FAIL an inspection.

Our entire family will never eat here again, and I strongly recommend avoiding Mei Jing Mandurah at all costs.

This was by far the worsted Chinese I’ve ever experienced ! The salt and pepper ribs were slimy and no taste whatsoever, the special fried rice had nothing special to it at all , was not cooked properly and certainly not fried , looked more like left overs from other dishes , as for the meal I couldn’t even face to eat that …. $60 for absolute garbage and after I complained they said that the batter does go soggy and nothing they can do about it ! No offer of a refund or an apology!

Of course I didn’t eat it the next day ! We took it back to the hotel next door as soon as we picked it up , then I called you as soon as you reopened the next day to tell you , yes the rice was garbage so we’re the so called ribs , I’m happy to send / show you a sample of my home made fried rice ,maybe you could...

We ordered 3 dishes, they were all tasteless and not up to their usual great standard. We rang them to let them know, as there appeared to be a big gathering coming into the restaurant that night and we wanted to avoid this happening to anyone else. The lady asked us to bring the meals back. So my partner took what hadn’t been served up back. (2/3 of each dish). The manager took the food away to try it and gave us back the dishes. He agreed to replace one dish and added gravy to the omelette. As the Kay-tou was overcooked we had that dish replaced, the replacement dish ended up being ultra salty to the point it was inedible.
