I have bought food from this “supposed” family Italian restaurant - both within two months of each purchase. The first purchase of Chicken Tortellini was extremely disappointing. There was insufficient sauce and although the pasta was cooked “al dente” the lack of sauce made this an uninteresting flavoured and gluggy dish! I decided to give them a second chance last night. We ordered Gnocchi Gorgonzola with Pear and walnuts via Uber Eats along with a garlic and cheese pizza with an order of Tiramisu and an Eaton Mess (a very unusual dessert on an Italian restaurant menu!! The gnocchi was delivered in (yet again) a container that had three compartments- the dish was unevenly distributed over the two small and one larger compartments - really not acceptable! The gnocchi dish was so SALTY we could not taste the cheese, there were too many walnuts which tasted stale and not enough pear. The sauce was brown which meant it was burnt! Not at all nice! The cheese and garlic pizza was equally disappointing - they had used garlic SALT instead of real garlic! Again another tasteless salty offering! I cannot even tell you how bad the desserts were! Needless to say both contained far too much cream and had no taste! I will never patronise this poor excuse of an Italian restaurant EVER AGAIN!! I am embarrassed to be an Italian!! Do yourself a favour and go...
Read moreWe visited Paparazzi on Friday night, 17th August. As we entered the place, we got a strange look from their waiter or manager (not sure who he was, but surely he made himself look very important) who didn’t greet us at all, just looked down on us. After waiting for few seconds for the ‘waiter’s’ greeting, I just walked to the first table I liked. There were a lot of free tables to choose from. As I was making myself comfortable, the ‘waiter’ made a gesture with pointing his finger ‘come here’. I was confused, the gesture itself and his face expression was so rude. If it wasn’t for our tired and hungry children, we would of left straight away. Then with irritated tone he said that that particular table was reserved. There were no sign on the table, but I didn’t argue, we just went to the table he showed us. After more than hour and a half we been there and until we left that table was left free as well as other half of tables at the restaurant. The food was beautiful and delicious and my family enjoyed it, we were served by a lovely lady who provided amazing and outstanding service, but the whole experience was ruined by that ‘greeting’. I think the owner of the place should not let that man interact with customers, just let him do the work at the back of...
Read moreDined in at Paparazzi Cafe / Resturant Friday 13th May for dinner celebrating a belated birthday for a family member. The resturants ambience was family orientated. The staff were friendly. We did not know anything about this resturant before stepping inside. Wish we had seen the menu setup before booking.
Disappointed with the menu setup & value . The way the menu is set out, you could only choose a two course meal for $55 or three course meal for $65. If you couldnt eat a large meal like some cannot due to health or diet requirements & only wanted a main meal you could not. The dishes should be priced individually so people had a choice of what they wanted to order. If they could only afford a main meal that's what they do. What we had was not worth $55 a head. One person ordered garlic prawns which were presented in a small round bowl consisted of 4 prawns & 1 small slice crusty bread on the side, which were average. The second choice was a pizza. Pick up the pizza & topping slides off the pizza. Second person ordered Veal Saltimbocca with a side potato mash with green beans. This was tasty & tender. The second choice was a desert Tirrimasu, not the best I've tasted. What was delivered was not worth $55 a head The menu below the cost...
