I would like to express my immense disappointment in the joke that is known as service that we received from Nando’s Innaloo (WA)
Staff in our office made an order through Ubereats at 11.22am hoping to beat the lunch time rush. We were initially disappointed at the 12.30 ETA, but then this ETA turned out to be optimistic.
At 12.20 we noticed our order had not moved. We are under 15 minutes from Nando’s Innaloo so we would have assumed it would have been picked up from the store at this stage. We contacted the store to find out what was happening and discovered that though the store could see our order, they had no started cooking it yet.
In an attempt to ensure our chicken did not arrive raw, they commenced cooking our order… at 12.22. This is exactly one hour after we put in the order. We were then given an ETA of 12.56.
To say we were disappointed was an understatement. We were angry. Very angry and very hungry.
It was hard enough putting in the order seeing the menu provided to Ubereats by the store did not allow the adding of bacon to the Supreme burger. It was added as a comment on the order and fortunately it arrived with bacon. Pity it was cold.
We were considering driving down to pick up the order ourselves, but that is not fair to Ubereats who were doing the best they could with what was provided to them, and what was provided to them was not very much. Ubereats were not even provided with the whole order. A little over half our cold order arrived at approximately 1.02pm. Where the rest of our $100+ order is, we may never know….
Yes a complaint is being put through to Ubereats about this. We do not expect to pay a cent for this. We are making this complaint public though to ensure other people do not make the same mistake we did in ordering through...
Read moreThis is without a doubt the worst Nando's I have been.
Firstly, I paid for my order in cash and was due to receive $5.50 change. However the til was empty and they were unable to pay me back. The waiter was apologetic and embarrassed and I did feel bad for her, but I was also irritated that they were unable to give customers the required change. Ten minutes later the waiter came to our table and gave me 27 20c coins as that was all they could find. I did appreciate receiving my change, however a business really should be equipped to serve customers.
The second issue was to do with the physical appearance of the store. Many of the lights had blown and the tables were filthy. There were no cups available to drink from and there was only one bottle of each sauce type which was not enough to cater for a restaurant of customers.
The third issue was the most shocking. I was dining with a group of friends and one of them found not one but two hairs in her meal. The first was in her halloumi burger and was a long hair, almost 10cms in length. She put this hair to the side and almost moments later found another long hair amongst her chips. The lack of hygiene is unacceptable.
Overall I would not recommend visiting this Nando’s to anyone at all. The store is dirty needs maintenance, they are under equipped and apparently no one wears hairnets because strands of hair will end up...

Didn’t seem to understand that we wanted our whole chicken as half L&H and half hot and instead just served us the whole thing as L&H. When we complained, they took it back and gave us the whole thing as hot (so they still didn’t understand what half and half meant). Same issue with the corn - they thought we wanted a mixture of hot and L&H on all the corn rather than 2 hot and 2 L&H. I understand that mistakes and miscommunication can happen but the manager was also rude when we stated our order was incorrect. He argued back that we wanted a mixture. No apology for the misunderstanding. We had to fight to get the correct food given to us. Their cost to replace half a chicken and 2 pieces of corn is way less that what it will cost them for having a bad reputation. I don’t understand why it was so complicated when we’ve ordered this many times before and it’s always been correct and not that difficult for the staff to understand.
