Yeh never coming back. why force people to order through the app and add an additional 3rd party charge, as we’ve been waiting at the counter to order. Why rudely turn us away when you could please just take the order, and force us to do it all ourselves. Poor form, I don’t want to give my full legal name, phone number, email, table number et c etc when I order, I just want to order food instead of doing all of the work for you. At the end of the day, I wouldn’t be too bothered about being forced to order in app, if the manager were polite in the smallest amounts, but they were just rude, told us we could go away and order through the app and that they couldn’t take our order, just for a friend of the managers to come in, have her order taken within 15 seconds, and be treated politely and with respect after being told we can go away less than 5 minutes before. Would not recommend, would actually recommend to actively stay away unless you want to be treated like dirt. In the 30 minutes spent eating, all I saw was her talking with friend sitting out front, being on her phone, and then would unceremoniously walk into the kitchen and start yelling at her poor employees. Read moreLook. This is probably the fifth time we have “given them another chance” and honestly, I wish we didn’t. Spent over $100 on a birthday meal only to be so bitterly disappointed. The last few times we have been, the chicken has had hardly any basting on it to the point being completely plain. So today for my birthday dinner, we asked for extra basting. Just to be safe. Did we get it? Absolutely not. The four lots of tender meals we got were so, so incredibly dry, we could we barely get through them without choking. The box they came in was bone dry, so there was nothing to even scrape out to salvage and moisten the meal. The chips - were ok. The bbq ribs literally looked like a box full of chewed up food. I’ve heard of falling off the bone before, but these were not even attached. Also, no basting - Just chunks of chicken in the box with bones around it. I’ve found lately the closest Nando’s around have all been suuuuper stingy with their basting, Ocean Keys and Butler I’m looking at you too. Went in for my lunch break, i have client based work so have no flexibility. Ordered a simple half chicken combo. 25 minutes later, no food and the grill is empty. I approach the counter and they realise their mistake. I say I have no time to wait now, and asked for a refund. The server said they could not do this as there was no manager onsight. Either refunding the eftpos or providing cash was not possible withoit their approval, and they made no offer to contact them. Instead, I was asked to leave my details and now have to chase up my own refund. I have never been to an establishment that makes it impossible for employees to fix point of sale issues. If this is not the policy, this staff member needs retraining. If this is the policy it is a stupid policy, especially for a place with a high number of low value sales. The risk of authorizing employees to process refunds is next to none. The idea this is impossible without a manager present is ridiculous, and now i have waste even more of my time to get a refund, on top of not getting to eat lunch today. Complete waste of my time. Not coming back here and will advise...
