One star – only because Google doesn’t let you rate in negative crusts.

I recently ordered three pizzas from this local pizza and pasta joint, lured in by the glowing recommendations. I was expecting a bit of magic from the woodfired oven, maybe a cheeky tug at my inner Italiano. What I got was a culinary identity crisis wrapped in cardboard.

Let’s break it down: The toppings? Soulless. Looked like they were placed by a factory robot with mild OCD – perfectly spaced, no human touch, no love. Zero flavour. I could’ve gotten more excitement licking the inside of a Weet-Bix box.

The dough? Way too uniform to be made fresh. This wasn't handmade – it was 100% machine-pressed, possibly imported directly from the frozen aisle of sadness. No char, no bounce, no soul. It had the consistency of a soggy coaster pretending to be artisan bread.

The taste? Honestly, I’ve had more personality in a plain toastie. Every bite was like biting into culinary witness protection. No flavour. No spice. No salt. Just a warm circle of regret.

I’m not one to throw a local under the bus without fair warning, but if this is your idea of pizza, I genuinely worry for your pasta. If your toppings taste like printer paper, your cheese is giving "budget shredded blend", and your base is impersonating a Hungry Jack’s bun, we’ve got...

The change of ownership has been a huge disappointment. Yes, the menu is the same, but the quality and love is not there anymore. We have been enjoying the NP since 2016, ordering the number 5 and 9. A little hiccups here and there on not adding the extra items we ask and pay for, but it was delicious. First time we ordered after the change and possibly the last time. We always looked forward to having it as a treat and what a treat it used to be. We understand they are "new" at it and it can get better, maybe we will try again later on with the hope that it will be as good or better than before. Number 5 today was a disaster, the huge soggy kale leaves compared to the small crunchy pieces of kale as before plus the huge sizes or not sliced pizza, not well baked either. I would rather have waited ten more minutes, plus the other 50 minutes we waited for it for it to have been properly made and cooked. And no, I am not complaining because of the waiting time. It simply was horrendous. Number 9 was okay ish,...

Thank you so much to the team at Neigbourhood Pizza and Pasta. We booked a table for 22 on a Saturday night for an anniversary celebration / party. It was nothing short of FABULOUS! The staff kindly agreed to us decorating the table, using their glassware and cutlery etc. Add a few candles, some flowers and buckets of champers...........and WOWSA, it looked amazing. Pizzas were delicious and pasta outstanding. All food came out at the same time and it was hot. With all of this and BYO alcohol as well, it was a winner. All our guests were very impressed. Thanks again for being so fabulous and for being so accommodaing. We will...

Such a great place. The pizzas are amazing, with fresh ingredients and a light, crisp base. The atmosphere of Neighborhoods is wonderfully pleasant and relaxed. You can bring your own drinks, and they have all glasses you might need, but you can also purchase cold drinks there. The people who work there are really lovely and friendly. Overall it was a fantastic experience and will definitely visit again. PS I had the No.4 pizza and my partner had the No.13 pizza. Both were amazing.

We ordered of menu log and the pizzas came quick which is awesome . I like the base and you can tell they are great chefs , I just found one pizza really lacking in topping and one lacking in flavour. They must be healthier than usual pizzas but just less flavour which I wasn't expecting.
