Friday night, we decided to head to this Italian restaurant. I didn't know this restaurant is a BYO restaurant, but luckily the bottle shop is just around the corner. The waitress is pleasant; she welcomed us and showed us to our table. We ordered the zucchini flowers filled with ricotta lightly floured, and deep fried served with a reduced honey vinaigrette and sundried tomatoes. As for mains, we ordered Spaghetti Merlino, pasta with prawns, red emperor, whiting, scallops, white wine and fresh tomato pieces. The pasta is al dente, and the seafood serving is very generous. The second main we ordered the pan-fried beef fillet scaloppini in a cashew nut, cream and sweet marsala sauce served with potato bake and fried English spinach. My recommendation, I love the zucchini flower and also the spaghetti Merlino. I will come back again to try their pasta and risottos. After all the mains and entree we are so full. We didn't get to order any of their desserts.

They have normally tasty food. I am not sure if they change their chef because we were there for dinner last week. It was so dissapointed time. Food was average. My octopus with salad was too salty then my risoto di mare was salty too. My husband asked for squids but they brought prawns. Then he asked for pork and they brought a piece of fatty pork (80% fat and 20% meat). He didn't eat it. The bread was not fresh. We don't enjoy it. Music is beautiful. Today was really good food!

I love Italian food and seafood, and the choices of both seafood and other dishes here are varied and attractive. Absolutely delicious and good value for money, you can still get a main course here for $30 depending what you order. This isn’t a cheap pizza joint but a fine dining venue without a massive price tag. I will definitely return. One of Perth’s best Italian menus.

I had fond memories of Numero Uno, in particular the seafood. As it was my partner’s birthday I thought it was a good opportunity to see if it lived up to my memories of a while ago. It surpassed everything I remembered and it was also nice to see Linda and Guido still run and work in the restaurant. I enjoyed the zucchini flowers stuffed-with ricotta and coated in a thin and crispy batter for entree and pasta with eggplant for main. My partner absolutely loved the local scallops for entree and the seafood platter with Red Emperor, mussels, Moreton bay bugs, scampi, prawns and scallops with a delicious salad for main. We had a delicious experience today and look forward to returning soon. Bonus...
