Food took nearly an hour, food not cooked properly and they were not even busy👎🏼
Lovely place, it’s got plants everywhere and a nice little grey cat wandering around.
I went there on Sunday around 11:30 AM, paid over $80 for two breakkies, two drinks and a side and waited for nearly an hour to get my food. (Only 3 slices of toast, avo, bacon & 🥚 x2) this what they call Piccolo’s breakfast.
By the time my partner and I got our food delivered, we had already finished our coffee and smoothie. It’s frustrating because I gave specific instructions to the lovely person on the till and repeated the order twice regarding how we wanted the eggs on both breakfasts to be cooked and yet still they didn’t get it right! At that point I was starving and just wanted to eat whatever and leave the place.
We also overheard how a couple was also waiting for even longer than us. It would’ve been nice to know that the food was gonna take longer, but we were never notified.

Wide selection of pastries at the counter and cooked breakfast/brunch menu is great. Portions of food are quite substantial. Fairly good value for money, with most items under $25.
Coffee was average as my soy was over-steamed. Had a serving of “Piccolo’s Breakfast” (?) — smashed avo, bacon, ciabatta toast, spicy relish and poached eggs with a couple of other additions. The poached eggs were over done, while the rest of the items on the plate were cooked well!
Minimal parking available only. The place can get very busy in the late morning, with takeaway being the only choice, with the small table settings inside.
Would return only if I was...
Read moreCame here for an early morning break from making breakfast for my M3. What a gem! There's a little room tucked away behind the big mirror that's decked out for exactly my kind of people (people who have little people to entertain).
Breakfast was fantastic, its been a long time since I felt like there was more on the plate than what I paid for, but here it was. And there was plenty to entertain M3 on the shelves, nooks, and crannies so I could eat it almost all by myself. Being out of the way helped reduce the noise from self declared mining magnates, waffling on about the legalities of mineral rights and how they, "know a guy", who has the skinny.
Delightful spot for a quiet break that the locals a definitely not telling...
