The peanut sauce came separately from my veggie and tofu dish. Judge for yourself as to what a restaurant means when they say veggies and tofu? They mean carrots and broccoli. Oh there's 2 snow peas and 4 pcs tofu. I have been recommending these guys for years but it was the manager's response during my phone call about it that had me write this. Sadface. The dish was yummy but I am not thinking it is ideal in terms of general expectation. That is why 3 stars from me today

Tried a dinner here on a weeknight when it wasn't so busy. The food is generally delicious with lots of flavour, but didn't feel overly authentic for Cambodian but more like Cambodian and Asian adapted for Australian customers. Serving sizes are also medium, and we had 8 main dishes between 6 people without stuffing ourselves. Service is friendly, although they aren't the most attentive. We also had to follow up on a dish that it seemed like they had forgotten.

Went to this place for dinner with the family. I got Curry Puffs for my son. I think that was about 14 dollars. My wife got Stir Fried Egg Noodles and Chicken. I tasted some. Tasted good. Was about 22 dollars. Stir Fried Basil Beef also tasted. Was about 24 or 25 dollars. Either the noodles or the Beef tasted the best. Tom Yum Soup and Chicken well cooked

First time trying this place as I wanted to try some Cambodian cuisine. This may have been of my own fault for ordering take away rather than dine in.

When we went to pick up the order, was served with a nice smile from the server who used lovely manners. However we bought a few dishes including entrees & dessert.

Fish cakes were rubbery & oily, roti was almost raw (like someone put it on the heat for 5 secs each side) so I had to fry them on the pan myself.

BBQ pork was beyond dry even in the sauce… basil beef had no basil present at all (tasted like soy sauce beef) had the lamb korma, meat was tender but dry yet was the only dish that had flavour. (Spent $120 for this meal btw).

Be wary of parking it is incredibly difficult & inconvenient. We got there on time & it took 10 minutes to get parking.

THE BEST PART WAS THE BANANA SAGO ! Dessert redeemed ordering from this place for sure. Dinner was just okay.

Not satisfied with this meal but had to force it down. May give another go at this place for dine in rather than take away. For another chance at redemption. Disappointed with the food but they may...

Tamarind Restaurant is a wonderful dining spot with consistently good food and lovely, attentive service. The dishes are well-prepared, full of flavour, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delight. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. It’s wise to book ahead, as the restaurant is popular and fills up quickly. One of the great perks is that it’s BYO wine, which adds to the enjoyable experience. The only downside is that prices have risen a bit compared to previous visits, but the quality of food and service still makes it worth a visit. Overall, Tamarind remains a favourite for anyone seeking a memorable...

When you walk in the door you are greeted with an aggressive “do you have a booking?”. Every time we have been asked this (visited multiple times, different days of the week and different dinner times) the restaurant has a current sitting of 0 to 5%. It’s a horrible welcome. Seriously, a greeting of welcome, join us, we love that you are here…so more welcoming. Dirty menus sitting on the plates you are to eat off. Staff stand by the side watching you but no activity, no proactive action to celebrate the menu. Just can’t support this service and experience. This last visit, we lasted 3 minutes and...
