“I’ve been to countless Vietnamese restaurants over the years, and I’m usually given a menu shortly after being seated, with a waiter asking if I’d like to order drinks. However, this experience was anything but typical.

While waiting, I overheard the couple next to me complaining about not being served. And when they finally were served, they didn’t even receive their food. This was a major red flag for me, but I tried to stay hopeful. However, after waiting 15 minutes without being acknowledged, I was beyond frustrated. I set a timer just to track how long it would take for us to be noticed—15 minutes with no service at all.

I walked up to the young woman who was serving us to express my disappointment with the service, but I was met with no sincere apology or even eye contact. She seemed completely uninterested in addressing the issue. There’s no excuse for this kind of service. I’ve been to much busier restaurants with fewer staff where the service was far more efficient and courteous.

To anyone considering dining here, I strongly advise thinking twice. If you’re looking for a quality Vietnamese meal, there are far better options like Ha Long Bay or Top Choice, where you’ll actually get service with a smile. Rude manager. We provided suggestions for the heater to set up for outside dinning. He asked us to move away! How rude he is! I will never go back to that restaurant again! First, I didn’t want to bring my dog in. I said if we can sit outside and you guys can provide the heater. The waitress said no. I said okay, can you get a heater for outside next time. I said I will take the dog and sit outside. And the manager said we can get out to another restaurant which is really rude. I just recommended to have a heater. Alright if you do not have customers sitting outside why you set up outside table? From the beginning we kept saying because we had dog with us so we have to sit outside. One of my favourite restaurants in Wollongong! So many vegetarian and vegan options! Gluten free too!! Fresh, light, tasty, and incredible value! I dine in here regularly and the service is always fast and the staff very friendly. I made a very large order for takeaway last night (I ordered a day ahead) and they were incredibly helpful and did us a great deal.
