North Wollongong Beach — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

Can be a bit hard to find parking on weekends in summer although there's lots it's just a very popular place . Huge park area and swings for the kids in the park at the northern end of the reserve , great rock pools to explore to the south . Excellent walking / bike riding path which is fully sealed . Take away shops and a few restaurants also . This place is always clean and is patrolled also . Make sure U swim between the flags as north of the main beach can be dangerous and is not patrolled until fairy meadow further north . North beach would be excellent for disabled people / wheelchairs with access to the beach via...

Beautiful, clean and patrolled beach, with plenty of facilities and options for eating. Despite being busy, there was plenty of space, without feeling squashed amongst the crowds (as you might be on other popular beaches). Major bonus, we were able to find a park straight away at lunchtime on a Sunday. Gorgeous. Just passing through, but will definitely be back again...

We went last Australia Day. We arrived at around 10am and we found a good parking spot easily. Surroundings are clean (paths, toilets, changing rooms, parks). Huge waves are perfect for body boarding and just having fun crashing to the waves. The beach is patroled. There are cafès nearby. All in all an enjoyable experience for us adults...
