As a Sydney local, finding a good vegan restaurant can be a challenge, but our experience at “Taste of Asia Northgong” in Wollongong was truly exceptional. The food was incredibly delicious, and we were thoroughly impressed.

The vegetables in the Veg Tempura were perfectly cooked, with a juicy interior and a crisp exterior that added a delightful texture to each bite. The Drunken Noodles were a highlight, offering a satisfyingly hot and spicy kick that was just perfect for a winter dinner.

The Chef's Special Fried Rice was bursting with flavors, and the Japanese Gyoza was simply delicious. However, the standout dish of the night was the dessert - the "Roti Sizzle" was truly next level. It had the perfect balance of hot and mild sweetness, with a delightful coconut flavor complemented by marshmallows.

Overall, our experience at Taste of Asia Northgong was nothing short of fantastic. The food quality, flavors and service was good ,we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience...

Came here after reading the good reviews. However our experience was not that great. We ordered food and literally waited 40 minutes. 1 dish came and the rest, we had to ask what happened to the rest, and then it was delivered. Not even canned drinks came early. The food was good. The special fried rice and papaya salad was really good. However the ramen was very bland in taste. The milk tea was good. Not sure why the food was late.. it was not a crazy busy place. A bit Pricey for Thai food. One more thing. The parking here might be full as it’s next to a motel. When we came it was full. Maybe we’ll go back some other time and see if we have a...

Only good things to say about Taste of Asia, the vegan menu is enormous and I've tried a large amount of dishes, always delicious. The stir fry's always have so much sauce - great for serving over rice. Large servings, always arrives hot. I usually order a noodle dish or a stir fry with rice and split it over two nights and it reheats great the next day.

Tends to be pretty oily, not over the top though and no one is ordering thai takeout as a health food so oh well!

Also, I hate carrot and large pieces of onion so I order my dishes without and they are always so diligent...

Two months ago: I read about this place when it first opened and finally decided to try it out last night. The food was pretty good, we ordered the salt and chilli pork belly and the Pad Cha Barra was excellent. Update 3 weeks ago : Tonight is our second visit. We had the pork belly with XO sauce served on a hot plate and mixed vegetables n tofu with Chilli and Basil Sauce. Both were pretty good. Update: last night, we brought our BILs and SILs there for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. 5 dishes shared btw 6.
