Update: Persuaded to go back, I was pleasantly surprised to see veg options on both breakfast and lunch menus. The big veg brekkie was generous and I especially liked the smoky paprika notes in the home made baked beans. The meal filled me for lunch as well, and my chai latte was well made, not sickly sweet as a lot of places do it. Hot drinks are clearly their strong point, but the food is now veg inclusive, and with a constantly changing specials board, you should get variety too. I've upgraded from my original 3 stars. Original review: Admittedly the food was good, but there was very little on the menu for a vegetarian, (no lunch options but all day breakfast had some) and when I asked if they could sub the bacon in their eggs benny for something else, like mushroom, I was told no problem, but on asking for the receipt, I'd been charged an extra $2, no deduction for the bacon being left off. Prices were a bit steep. For $15, including my extra charge, I'd have expected more than the 12 tiny mushrooms, and not enough baby spinach leaves to cover the only half buttered bread. To give them credit, though, the eggs were poached perfectly, and the sauce, which was also good, mostly covered them, at least. They were also generous with the table water. Just as well, because my 'large' iced latte (I had to ask about cold drinks, there's no menu for that) was in the small glass variety that usually gets put out for water. Having been asked if I wanted large or 3/4 size, I hate to think what the smaller option would've been. Three sips left me with a glass filled with 3 full size ice cubes, and no diminishing of my thirst. My friend's coffee mug, by comparison, was at least double, possibly triple the capacity. I'm highly unlikely to come back for a meal, although I'd consider it for coffee only.

OK this is one review I'm excited to add. The lady that greeted us was Professional, Polite and very genuine. A credit to old school customer service. Well done! Food was Awesome, Had the Infamous AVO smash Breakfast with poached eggs, unbelievable. Kids had the stacked Bacon and Egg roll. They loved it. Coffee was good, Kids loved their Milkshakes. This Business is now trading in the evening also with things like Burger Night & Pasta Nights. I will definitely be going to one of these. Such big things coming out of a small kitchen. Well done guys.

Burger night! We had the Southern chicken burg, which comes with slaw, bacon and cheese. Sensational. Crispy chook, generous size. Also, the trio of sliders - the haloumi was clean and simple, the cajun chicken was good and spicy, and the baby cheeseburger was absolutely on point. No dramas with byo & Lee and the team were warm and friendly.

I love going into Xavier’s place I’m usually not one to post a review but these guys always go above and beyond normal expectations.

The staff are so friendly and the standard of food and coffee is amazing. The lady who runs the place (Ange) always greets me with a smile and now always calls me by name. The other gentleman who makes coffee (sorry forgot your name) remembers my coffee order and always has a chat with me

The chef (Rebecca I think) is always so lovely. She makes amazing food and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel the love. She Deffs has a secret stash of love that she adds in her food because it’s just full of passion and love. Prices and portion sizes Are perfect and the overall nitty gritty things in the cafe are perfect Whoever says this place isn’t good or has anything bad to say clearly doesn’t have a heart. Well done to this small business. See you...

I Am the chef at xaviers place, and apologise for the harassment fake profile posts made towards myself from an estranged family member. MY employer whom was witness to this family members harassment, reported her behaviour and use of fake profiles,1 of which she's used her ex husbands name.He also has gone to the authorities.I pride myself in my customer service and professionalism. I also have never had a complaint about my professionalism in 25 years of being a chef.So this deeply saddens me that this family member is mentally ill ,And has targeted me . I only hope she can get the professional mental help she needs.kind...
