Subway — Restaurant in Innsbruck

It's a typical, self-service American fast-food restaurant. You can buy your drink with a refill option as in typical American cousine. We went there with my boyfriend, bought two Subway sandwiches & "one" drink and shared it 🤭 To be honest, I've been very surprised to see the bad comments about the employees and the service. Maybe something changed since last year but everything was very nice when I went there. Moreover, the staff was very helpful, friendly and knew English, which is a huge bonus for me because you may not encounter with this everywhere.

EDIT: Today, I ordered my lunch from there. I waited extremely long for reaching the food. At first, the estimated delivery time was 15.05-15.15 but it got multiple delays unfortunately till 15.45. I guess my order probably traveled the whole Innsbruck before reaching me. Otherwise, there can't be any other explanations for the delivery taking around one hour for 5 minutes of walking distance. In the end, my order arrived very late and cold. The bread of sandwiches was very wet because of sauces laying there for a long time. And, the cookie was broken into multiple pieces. I think I'll never order from there again.

So, regarding my overall experience in Subway, I can tell that eating there was good but ordering from there...

I always liked the place but yesterday (03.12.22) the staff wasn't interested at all in taking my order. The 2 guys kept talking to 3 of their friends. When they finally took my order they just kept talking to them about stuff like "their b** coming over tonight". One of them wasn't wearing a subway shirt and said it's his second day to one of his friends. In my opinion you should work extra hard when you're starting out... All in all it was a bad experience, because they didn't really care at all. He also messed up my order and put a ton of sauce on top... Probably not going to...

Poor hygiene!!! worker opened the wrapping for the gluten free bread with his teeth and the wrapping fell from his mouth into the salad bar. When I asked if he actually thinks this is ok especially during a pandemic he said he’s been working there for subway for 6 years and I should shut my mouth. Disgusting behaviour and attitude. And what is even worse is he was training a new guy. If that’s the guy training people this business is doomed. I feel sorry...
