As an Indian traveler exploring Austria, my dining experience at Jaipur Restaurant was nothing short of delightful. Located in a charming part of town, Jaipur Restaurant captures the essence of Indian cuisine with an Austrian twist, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Maharani Thali (Vegetarian). This splendid platter comprised three delectable Indian curries, each bursting with authentic flavors. The creamy Dal Makhni was a standout, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spices. Paired with a freshly baked Naan, fragrant Basmati rice, and a refreshing Cucumber raita, the Thali offered a satisfying and balanced meal. Every bite was a reminder of home, executed with finesse and authenticity.
The experience was further enhanced by the exceptional hospitality from the staff. Arun Kapoor, Mishka, and Anna were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every guest felt special. Their genuine warmth and professionalism added a personal touch to the dining experience, making it memorable.
In summary, Jaipur Restaurant in Austria is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. The Maharani Thali is a perfect choice for vegetarians, offering a delicious and wholesome meal. With lovely staff like Arun Kapoor, Mishka, and Anna, you're guaranteed a delightful...
Read moreAn Indian restaurant owned by an Austrian who serves well prepared racist attitude towards the people whose cuisine she dares to serve. I had a reservation and was denied to get a table for 80 minutes. Once I got to table and put a review of restaurant's unorganized management system, the owner walked up to me and started shouting in front of the whole restaurant. Ruining my first experience of Innsbruck and my family time. In return, when I stood up against her bad management, her next exact words were "I hate serving people like you, you are the worst kind really". This followed with my loud reply of "how dare you make such racist remark if you aren't managing your business properly." Afterwards, a nearby customer advised the owner to stop bothering me so she doesn't get entangled with some legal issues due to such remarks. Food was mediocre. The owner makes table ready for fair skinned people in 1-2 minutes while the other "kind" has to stand in the cold outside. Shame on City Council of Innsbruck if no strong action is taken against this business right away after this information being shared publicly (similar racist experiences have been put towards other Indians as well, read the reviews yourself). The owner might as well change the restaurant's name to THE FOURTH REICH...
Read moreWe were told there were reservations and hence they can’t seat us which is understandable and acceptable if it was true. We didn’t think much in beginning and ordered our food and thought of waiting there till it was done but were told we can’t even wait inside the restaurant while the order was being prepared and were asked to come back after 25 mins. It was 7.45 PM and we had no where to go around. Funny thing is when we came back after half an hour to collect our food the restaurant looked as empty as before and there was no one waiting near the bar as was told to us that only people who reserved tables earlier can wait there 😡. And we waited for another 10 mins to collect the food. We booked a cab and waited for another 10 mins there but saw no one come for the said “reservation” in all this time. The curries we ordered were ok but the roti was completely burnt and this we got to see only after going back to our room. If you are a tourist and hungry and tired roaming around from morning avoid this place at all cost not worth the effort you put to...
