ARTiSAN Bakery . World Food . Books — Restaurant in Politische Expositur Gröbming

I came across this gorgeous little cafe when I was searching for vegan restaurants in Schladming. I wasn't disappointed, the food was fab and my two friends who aren't vegan also loved their meals. I ordered the spicy carrot soup and 'suprise vegan sandwhich'. One friend ordered scrambled eggs on toast and the other a chickpea stew. All delicious. My sandwhich looked like a work of art! There are a few tables in the middle of the cafe and one couch and coffee table. All of the walls are lined with bookshelves of books, teas, coffee, spices, condiments, chocolate and loads of other lovely things for sale. I could have spent hours browsing the shelves. I bought 5 jars of dried Greek herbs to take away with me. You can also see into the kitchen at the back of the cafe at the staff preparing the food. I think it might be a couple who own the cafe and do everything and they make everything to order from scratch. (Worth the wait but I suppose it's worth mentioning that you shouldn't be in a rush) It's a little bit off the beaten track but still walkable from the centre of town. Definitely worth visiting...

One of the best Matcha latte’s I have ever had.

I wasn’t able to find the same excellence of a matcha latte in Lithuania yet (where I am from), or the places i have tried in Europe.

I have only had same good matcha latte years ago in one bento restaurant in France. That’s it.

So thank you for existing and an amazing matcha experience.

Absolutely delicious meals. We’ve returned here every day during our stay. Every single time we had something different and each time it was a great experience.
