Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience

I was genuinely looking forward to trying The Bakery by Didi Maier, but my experience was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

On the first day, I was told the restaurant operates on a “first come, first served” system. Wanting to avoid a long wait with my family, I requested a reservation, and the staff took my number, promising to call me when a table was ready. I waited for over an hour and a half but never received a call.

Determined to give it another try, I arrived the next day at 8:35 AM, well before the 9 AM opening time, to secure a spot. After waiting patiently for them to open, I was informed I needed a reservation! This was completely contradictory to what I had been told the day before.

The lack of professionalism and clear communication was incredibly disappointing. Waiting with my family for such a long time, only to face contradictory policies and poor organization, was a frustrating experience.

I expected far better from a place with such a high reputation. Clear communication and respect for customers’ time should be fundamental in the hospitality industry. I hope The Bakery by Didi Maier takes this feedback seriously and improves...

I ordered a cake and coffee and then took a vacant table. The cashier didn't ask me if it was going to be a takeaway, and I didn't say anything like that either. The waiter cleaned the table and I went to notify the cashier that I was sitting at the table. I found out that I would be getting takeaway items. Hardly, it was not a problem for me to drink coffee from a plastic cup instead of a cup. On the other hand, the lady with glasses from the staff reacted to this, I learned that she was occupying the table and "I have to go outside." She was not nice. I was treated very ugly and not nice. Other elderly people also did this and were allowed to stay in the restaurant. I don't understand what the problem was. I felt very unpleasant. I thought I could have a nice time alone with myself, eat cake and drink coffee. [June-2019] very popular breakfast spot, you will see may costomers, but they have enough tables. The have inside and outside seating areas. The decorations looks modern and good especially with natural lighting. I tried few dishes but the best dishes was the rice pudding. It tested rich and warm with no extra flavor except a touch of cinnamon. The yogurt was reach of all kind of mixed fruit, nuts, seeds, and dry fruit.
