Der Grieswirt — Restaurant in Sankt Anton am Arlberg

Honestly I'm from the UK on a road trip, visited this restaurant 15/07/2025 food was amazing we had the steak tartar and the mixed grill. The food and alcohol was amazing The best food I've had on this entire road trip. The ONLY issue was the amount of flies, me and my mates was constantly moving flies from our food there was about 7 circulating us the entire time. Other than that...

Was served incredibly chewy and practically raw pork belly. Other food in our group was also extremely disappointing (raspberry balsamic all over a salad was so acidic it was almost inedible, pretty dismal all around). Service was friendly but a bit pushy, too (we asked for a single bottle of wine, but our waiter tried hard to push an overpriced 3L one...

The service was very nice. A great change after having been for almost a week at St Anton where we have found a lot of unfriendly people. The food was good. We ordered some soup and snitsel that were good. The atmosphere was family like although there was a table with clearly drunk people that we have gotten used to encounter everywhere.
