Went after looking for best restaurant for local food! The restaurant is pretty but the food is such a let down! Very small menu and tasteless. A real disappointment and very expensive. My husband had a meatloaf which was ok. I had a Goulash that was served with their little noodles. Nothing on the noodles, no spices, no oil, butter…not even salt and pepper!! Just pieces of beef with some tasteless noodles for what also is more expensive there than the online menu!!! St Anton has a lot of great restaurants. But the Murr Stadl is definitely not one of them. Food is a catastrophe and service is slow and arrogant. We had a ragu, a bartered fish and a large mixed salad. The battered fish tasted like the cheapest frozen supermarket fish fried in old oil (simple Iglo fish sticks would have been better) and the ragu was not great either (meat overcooked and tasteless). When we mentioned that the dishes are not what we expected we got the arrogant answer that we should not have ordered the fish anyway (well don’t put it on the menu and at least tell us upfront if you know it’s bad).
