We chose Aquila because they have a couple of veggie/vegan options. Very grateful for those options! We had a tasty beetroot hummus, a chickpea curry (which was nice but had hardly any chickpeas in it) salad options (our side salad was tiny) and a vegan burger. (I had the burger previously and it was good). They did not have lactose-free/vegan desserts or milk options sadly, so we couldn’t have a proper latte or cappuccino with dessert. :( The tables by the window are opposite the beautiful, historic “Schwarzer Adler” hotel, next to the hopping “Murmel Bar”, and a nice vantage point to see all the skiers walking down main street, St Anton. It’s a pleasant restaurant with a bar, but I wish they had more hearty, healthier, dairy-free options such as a proper curry with lots of vegetables, veggie bowls, large salads, soups, pastas & sauces etc. Along with...

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We went in expecting a decent meal, but what we got was overpriced, poorly cooked food and some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
We ordered a medium steak, and what arrived was a tough, dry, well-done disaster. When we politely pointed this out to the manager, he became defensive and rude, insisting that he was a “meat expert” and that we “don’t understand food.” Instead of making things right, he refused to bring us another steak and only offered us a different dish, as if we’d want to spend even more money on their terrible food.
For the ridiculous prices they charge, you’d expect at least decent service, if not great food. Instead, we left feeling disrespected and ripped off. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values...
Read moreMy family and I were chased away by the rude manager, even though we were still finishing our drinks. He claimed that he had told us that we need to leave by 20:15 when I made the reservation over the phone. Firstly, I had made the reservation in person the day before for 18:30. Secondly, the waitress with whom I booked with did not tell me that there was a time limit…(which fancy restaurant puts a time limit on their guests anyway!?!?) When he chased us away he used horrible, vulgar language. I calmly tried to explain my side of the story, but he was having none of it, ignored me and spoke over me. If he had just said: “I am really sorry for the mis-communication“ everything would have been okay. We will never...
