If I’d have been local…

This would be the exact place where I would proudly invite my friends. Saying things like: “This is the real Viennese experience” or “A hidden gem like no other”.

The place itself doesn’t necessarily look like a typical Schnitzelei but don’t let the looks mislead you. They serve incredible Schnitzel! It’s crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. And it just feels great.

Sometimes you go out somewhere else and the Schnitzel can be a bit too salty or oily. While eating, everything is fine. But afterwards… it’s not pleasant.

Here, this is not (!) the case. You feel great! For me, it was the best Schnitzel I ever had in my life.

Also, the people are incredibly friendly and speak well both English and German (duh).

Honestly, it kind of feels like as if you’re visiting a friend. The one who is a really good cook. The...

We arrived in Vienna at 18:00 and basically starving, wanted to grab something to eat quickly. This was the only restaurant we found open in our area, so we decided to give it a go. We were greeted by a super friendly tall man with blue eyes. He tried his best to guide us through the menu, despite the language barrier. We decided to get a schnitzel each, and asked if we could sit outside. He was slightly concerned that we would get cold( this was back in April), but eventually set us a table and 3 chairs right outside the store. Just 10 minutes later, he came back with 3 freshly made schnitzels and guess what, they were delicious and super filling! Easily one of the best and most wholesome restaurant experiences we had in out 2-week trip. That man...

I found this place via chatgpt's recommendations and it turned out to be spot on. We got a turkey schnitzel with extra potatoes, some nuggets, some sauce and a beer to share. They brought the potato salad as their treat. The whole feast cost only 23.7 euros! The schnitzel was a very big portion and simply delicious. The nuggets were ok. Wish it wasn't so late in the evening so we could try some other stuff but we were full by what we got already. The prices are unbeliavable. The owner who was also the cook and the server was extremely nice and friendly. I definitely recommend this gem to everyone who wants eat delicious comfort food at incredible prices in a very cozy friendly environment.

Eating at Anna’s Schnitzel restaurant was like eating at a family friend dinner table. Anna explained the menu to us and answered all of our question. She is warm and friendly and serve you with a smile. This is a small family business that has been in business for over ten years. The foods is made to order and you can hear them pounding the pork for each order. It’s is well worth the wait everything came out delicious my only regret is I will be leaving for Lyon and can’t eat here again at Anna’s restaurant. Everything is fresh and tasty. I highly recommend you make this one of your dining stop while you are visiting Vienna.
