I visited this restaurant for dinner on April/12th with high expectations, especially considering it’s ranked as the 3rd best pizza in Europe.
I had a reservation, and as soon as I sat down, a blonde waitress (whose name I unfortunately don’t remember) came by to take my order. She was very professional, clearly explained the different pizza options, and made some great recommendations.
Shortly after I ordered, I kept browsing the menu, when another waitress (if im not wrong - Daiana) passed by and asked if I had already decided. I said I had already placed my order and was just looking at the menu for drinks or dessert. Even so, she took the menu away. I politely asked if I could keep one, but she refused and told me I’d have to request it again later.
At that point, I was already a bit disappointed. Then the pizza arrived — and as soon as I cut the first slice, I noticed the dough was cold.
I discreetly called over a waiter and mentioned it. He immediately understood and took the pizza back to the kitchen without hesitation.
However, it was then brought back by the same waitress who had taken the menu earlier. She questioned me in a rather unfriendly tone, saying, “How can the pizza be cold if the plate is warm?” and tried to explain that the ingredients were cold because they were fresh and added after the oven. I clarified that I was talking about the dough, not the toppings.
After more back-and-forth — by this time the pizza was nearly cold — another staff member (an older gentleman) came over to repeat the same explanation. He said that’s how the pizza is served and that there was no point in making another one.
I asked what the solution would be, and he finally offered to reheat it. He took the pizza, put it back in the oven, and returned it to me (see second photo).
Overall, the pizza was good — quality dough and ingredients. But if you’re expecting great service and to be treated well, this may not be the right place.
Rankings like the Top 50 Pizza should consider not only the product but also the entire experience, including service and how customers are treated.
Finally, I asked the first waitress — the one who had been kind at the beginning — if there was an email for the manager or an official channel where I could share my experience. She simply told me to write it here on Google, as it would be seen by the...

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the majestic wood fired oven, but importantly we were welcomed at the door by the owner and you instantly sensed his energy, enthusiasm and passion to offer a great dining experience at his wonderful eatery and oh my; we were not disappointed..
Our waitress was also lovely, welcoming, courteous, attentive, friendly and swiftly helpful. Even offered to take a pic of my generous painful smile as I, in euphoria stargazed at the plate of beauty before me...
The Pizza
Stone baked to absolute perfection.. Fantastic mouth-watering scrumptious pizza and super quality ingredients used throughout
Incredible fresh rich tomato base with the perfect amount of sweet flavorsome depth and intensity.

The base was light in texture, fluffy, soft, tenderly thin without being crispy or brittle and easy on the knife.

Read moreThe food is still really good but it has been better. The bruschetta was not freshly made (the bread was rock hard). The restaurant is very loud. And packed. This is good. But, to have a normal conversation at the table is not possible you have to scream to each other. What is more, is that the service is drilled to serve you quickly. This results in: the service is not asking you if you want anything more to drink. is not asking for desserts or anything else. For our second round of drinks we needed to look out for a waiter for several minutes (one said to us, we should order at his colleague - why cant he tell him?)In the end we were asked to leave by the chief waiter - who kept us waiting in the beginning for 10mins at the door. 1.5hrs slot which is super short and a pity for a restaurant like that. Because we would surely have drunken another glass or eaten a dessert we never asked for the bill. It just came (because of the time). It makes the whole experience stressful and not nice. It became an expensive pizza fast food restaurant with amazing food but it lost all its charme. It has nothing to do anymore with the Italian way of enjoying food and spending quality time. It has been such a good restaurant before. But now... quantity over quality. Profit over customer experience. A pity. I will go somewhere...
