Bayar‘s - Falafel, Pizza & more — Restaurant in Vienna

Excellent meat durum, probably #1 in Vienna! I have visited this place last year when I come to Vienna. And this year too, nothing changed, excellent quality and great friendly service. The durum was filled with lots of meat, and quality meat indeed. Not simple minced meat doner, real steak doner and it tastes amazing! Garlic sauce is so tasty and does not dominate the taste of doner. Salad inside the durum is freshly cut and well balanced with the amount of doner meat. I also tried their pizza. I got positively surprised with the quality and the amount of ingredients in the pizza, much more than the average. The owner is very friendly and talkative person. It is a place run by a family. I suggest their home made lemonade as well as it tastes like real lemons with a bit of additional sugar. Overall a rare find excellent doner place in Vienna! It was quite late, and it was snowing heavily, and we were hungry. There weren't many interesting options on the street to look for a restaurant. So, we decided to enter a restaurant near Alser StraBe, which belonged to a Turkish family and was open 24 hours a day. They were honest people trying to succeed in their business. Normally, these Turkish restaurants and cafes near train and metro stations offer really simple food, so customers shouldn't have high expectations. However, the food at this place was delicious. We (two families with children 3-10 years old) visited Bayar's after a long day spent sightseeing Wien. The staff was very friendly and seated us in a separate room. The food was tasety and since we were very hungry, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the portions.
