I tried both Börek with cheese and with meat. I prefer the one with meat. The cheese one was not as intense in it's flavor. In general it's a good price/quality ratio and the minimal slice (quarter of the whole pie) is pretty large and costs just 2.5 euro but the dish is not mind blowing. I recommend stopping by if you are around but bit sure it's worth to go there if you are far away. Apart from Börek not a lot of things caught my eye...

Bittersweet Burek experience. While the dough tasted pretty good and the size-price quality is average, the filling was really scarce. We had one piece of meat Burek, with very little meat inside. We also took away one spinach Burek, which was again scarce in cheese and spinach.

Lebensmittel retten und dabei so viel gute Ware bekommen? Absolut top! Ich habe für gerade mal paar € eine randvoll gepackte Überraschungstüte bekommen, die ihren Namen wirklich verdient: Von Brot, Brötchen bis zu süßen Teilchen war alles dabei, frisch und lecker.Besonders beeindruckend: Die Menge und Vielfalt hätten locker für eine ganze Frühstücksrunde gereicht.

Und das Beste: Nichts davon musste entsorgt werden, alles war noch tagelang genießbar. Nachhaltigkeit schmeckt einfach besser, vor allem, wenn der Preis fast schon unverschämt günstig ist.

Fazit: Für den Preis so viele hochwertige Backwaren zu bekommen, ist nicht nur ein Glücksgriff, sondern auch ein kleiner Beitrag gegen die Lebensmittelverschwendung.

Wer in Wien unterwegs ist und Wert auf gutes, günstiges Essen legt, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen.
