Café-Restaurant Hold — Restaurant in Vienna

Nice little bar. Sells a few beers, some wine and other drinks. Brits beware, no vodka or jagerbombs and only two beers, no ciders.

Staff are friendly in the Austrian sense. No nonsense barman who will bring drinks to your table.

I enjoyed the decor, paintings, posters and many historically tid bits behind the bar. Tried Aperol spritz for the first time while my partner enjoyed a white wine. Not an unpleasant experience, mildy fruity and I guess the Aperol flavor.

Would come again for sure. A nice little bar to bring a few friends to. Not a romantic bar I would say, but I guess you could take a date here if it took your fancy.

Also, there are several board game cafes nearby, this seems to be the district for it. I would recommend...

the food is good but way overpriced , the people that go there are insufferable loud mouth josef stadter types, it has some good art on the walls sometimes , the owners are really miserable sods , the bar staff are always lovely though , i feel sorry for them having to work with such grumpy owners , everyone smokes here , dont come if you like a clear atmosphere when trying to...

Ich wohne um die Ecke und bin gestern spontan, dass erste mal zum Essen hingegangen. Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm, locker und freundliche. Sehr passend zum Dekor. Der Kellner war sehr zuvor kommend und hat einen gewissen Flair reingebracht. Der Service (Bar und Küche ) waren exzellent. Ich konnte mich nicht entscheiden, was ich essen sollte. Prompt hat der Koch mir 1-2 Fragen gestellt und mir etwas empfohlen. Mir hätte nix besseres passieren können. Das essen war super lecker und preis mäßig total akzeptabel.
