China Zentrum Stiegengasse — Restaurant in Vienna

One of my favorite Chinese food spots in Vienna is nicely situated at the Naschmarkt, at the end of Kettenbrückengasse. This area is renowned for its rich Asian cuisine, and I've visited this place numerous times. The decor is simple, but you can tell it's authentic.

The spicy cucumber salad was crunchy and fresh, which I really enjoyed. They make the best ganbian beef I've ever had. Their dim sum is also good, especially the shrimp and bärlauch ones, although there was one occasion when the dumplings arrived cold, but they quickly replaced them. The Special Chicken, cooked with homemade chili oil and served with garlic, coriander, and peanuts, was underwhelming. I've had much better versions elsewhere.

Overall, though, this remains one of my favorite...

Update November 2019.... Waren jetzt nach längerer Zeit wieder mal Essen und leider wars diesmal nicht so gut. Dim Sum ist einfach in kleine Stücke zerfallen sobald man sie aus den Dämpfkorb rausnehmen wollte. Reisnudelrollen waren viel zu dick und nicht einmal eine ganze Garnele drin - sorry, aber das geht gar nicht. Die restlichen Vorspeisen waren auch nur solala, da das meiste einfach in fertiger Chilisoße gemischt wurde. Hauptspeisen entweder geschmacklos oder übersalzen. Kellner haben den Tisch nur teilweise abgeräumt und die Gereichte einfach auf die leeren Teller draufgestellt - ein no-go!

Es war mal ein guter Asiate, der typische 0815 Gerichte sowie authentische chinesiche Speisen anbietet. Empfehlenswert sind die hausgemachten Nudelsuppen sowie...
