We were really looking forward to this experience, but in the end it was quite a disappointment. It is advertised as a 90-minute activity, but we were done in about 30 minutes, including 15 minutes spent waiting in line.

We visited in the evening, and by that time many of the balloons were already popped and the mirrors in every room were covered with handprints. On top of that, the rooms were very hot, stuffy, and had an unpleasant smell.

The ball pit could have been great fun, but it was crowded with sweaty children who had clearly been inside for a long time. Of course they were having fun, that is what the place is meant for, but without any time limits or supervision, it felt chaotic and uncomfortable. It would be much better if visitors were given a set amount of time, for example fifteen minutes, and smaller groups of about ten people were allowed in at once. This would make the experience more enjoyable for everyone.

Another downside was that only two of the laser drawing rooms were open, which meant we had to wait at least fifteen minutes to get inside.

I imagine the experience might be very different on a weekday, especially earlier in the day during the school year. But visiting on a Sunday at six in the evening turned out to be a poor choice. The place felt worn out and poorly managed. Sadly, it did not live up to...

I visited Ikono Vienna on January 1st, 2025, looking forward to an immersive and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, my visit was overshadowed by an incident that left me extremely disappointed and concerned about the safety and management of personal belongings at this venue.

During my time there, my scarf was stolen from the hanger where I had placed it under my jacket. This occurred between 16:40 and 17:40. I had chosen that spot assuming it was a safe space to leave my items, as it is within the premises of a professional establishment. However, the opposite proved to be true.

I immediately reported the issue to an employee, providing details about the missing item and even leaving my contact informationI was assured that the matter would be addressed.

Adding to my frustration, I was offered a bag as a consolation gesture:))),which I found wholly inadequate. I also requested the security footage to understand how this theft could have occurred, but my concerns seemed to be dismissed.

The scarf holds significant sentimental value, and the fact that I was leaving the country the very next day ,made the situation even more stressful. I expected a more proactive and empathetic response from the staff, especially given that I was on their premises when the...

Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. From the start, there was a lack of clear instructions, and despite having a booked time slot, we had to wait to enter. To navigate between people waiting in line, kids running around, people hanging jackets and other people leaving in such a small space really gave an unorganised and unprofessional feel.Once inside, the space felt overcrowded, with no real flow or control over how long visitors stayed in each room, which after the booked time slot felt really pointless to do in the first place. Some of the installations were either not working properly or appeared worn down, with noticeable dust and general lack of upkeep all around. The atmosphere felt chaotic, making it difficult to enjoy or engage with the experience fully. While there are a few photo-worthy spots, it’s hard to capture a moment without other guests – which maybe should be more of the focus since that, I fear, is the only point of these rooms. We tried to make the best of it since it was a gift, but overall, it felt overhyped and not worth the price. A bit more structure, maintenance, and crowd control would go a long way in improving the experience. Definitely...

I booked tickets online in advance after noticing that the earlier time slots for Saturday were starting to sell out. Check-in didn’t take too long, and I had to park the stroller next to the reception. The experience was fun, especially considering similar attractions in Europe, but I still think nothing beats Japan! This was my first time visiting an IKONO location. I went with my young kids, aged 3 and 6, and they absolutely loved the silver balloons and the ball pool. It was great fun, though I had to wait about 20 minutes in line for the ball pool—that was my limit. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t leave a great impression. The staff member managing the queue of the ball pool around 2 PM today was unfriendly, and her face says it all. Even at check-in, the receptionist wasn’t welcoming; she simply told me to park the stroller before entering, without a smile. Overall, the experience itself was enjoyable, but the staff could be more friendly.

I visited Ikono in Vienna during my trip, and it turned out to be quite a fun place. It’s located right in the city center, so it’s very easy to reach. The space is designed as a series of themed rooms with different light installations, mirrors, inflatable balloons, and playful setups. My favorite part was definitely the ball pit room — pure childhood joy for adults 😊 I think that’s where most visitors spend the majority of their time. The other rooms are also interesting, each with its own vibe and photo opportunities. The whole visit doesn’t take long — about 45 minutes is more than enough to explore everything and take some pictures. Overall: it’s a cool spot to check out if you’re already in the center and have some extra time. But if I had to choose, I’d say there are other attractions in Vienna that are more worth a visit.

An immersive art experience that combines interactive installations, light displays, and sensory exhibits. It's designed to engage visitors through playful and visually striking environments, making it a great spot for photography and exploration!! The space features different themed rooms, each with its own unique atmosphere. neon-lit tunnels, infinity mirror rooms, ball pits, and digital projections that react to movement. The experience is similar to a modern art exhibition but with a strong focus on participation rather than passive viewing We were really lucky since we went close to their closing hours and we were alone !!
