Cozy Joe — Restaurant in Vienna

The atmosphere is lovely - the closest we found to an authentic Viennese cafe that's also kosher. Unfortunately, that's really all the positive that I have to say about our experience. The food took a long time to come, and when it did, our dishes were missing several ingredients listed in the menu (we ordered salads). When I pointed this out to our server, he said he'd check what had happened. Over the course of about twenty minutes, he then gradually got us the remaining ingredients, little by little, in between serving other guests. We didn't have our full orders for a while. He let us have our latés for free for the inconvenience, which I appreciate, but it didn't change the fact that we didn't get the dishes we had ordered until after they had been sitting for a while, and also meant that we couldn't get our plans for the day started until well after we had intended.

Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal freundlich und gut beraten.

Es ist ein Restaurant auf einem Marktgelände und wir waren am Sonntag, wo es nicht viel los war und würde ich so nur empfehlen.

Tisch ist schön weiß gedeckt und finde ich schön und sauber - was wichtig ist.

Empfohlen wurde uns auch eine Sushi Rolle / wir haben die Spicy Tuna Roll genommen - und war überraschend und nicht erwartet - sehr lecker.

Auch die Lammrippen am Spieß fand ich sehr empfehlenswert sowie auch Humus mit dem weißen Brot.

Weniger gefallen hat es mir, das zugelassen wurde, das Kinder das Essen bringen und herumlaufen. Ich kann verstehen, dass es Spaß macht vor allem in den Ferien. Jedoch spielen Kinder draußen und ob man so gut kontrollieren kann, ob die Hände gewaschen werden - bevor unser Brot am Tisch serviert wird - ich weiß es nicht.

Ich wollte es dort nicht ansprechen, um dem Kind keine Freude wegzunehmen, dennoch mag ich es persönlich nicht wenn Kinder arbeiten und das Essen am Tisch bringen, für das man zahlt und doch irgendwie Hygiene erwartet.
