I usually don't write negative review but this time, I have to because the treat I got from one of the waitresses here is outrageous. I have visited this place with my daughter several times before and it is difficult to get a table without reservations on weekends so this time I reserved on Wednesday for Saturday breakfast. When we arrived at the restaurant right on time, surprisingly almost every table was still empty except 3-4. A dark brown hair woman came up to us so I told her I reserved and she checked my name on the list. Then she pointed a tiny table just in front of the front door for us to seat. I looked around the restaurant and there were many empty tables on which there were tags 'reserved'. The table she suggested for us is without 'reserved' tag. I asked, 'what are those empty tables? I also reserved'. Then she reluctantly pointed a table this time in front of kitchen which is 2 rows back. I didn't want to make a scene in front of my girl so I did not say anymore to the woman, but this was certainly some kind of discrimination. I tried to understand if there is some kind of logical rule allocating seats. Did I reserve too late? but I found out that those reserved who came in later than us often changed seats according to their taste and obviously she escorted us to the table which was not for reserved customers. I will not go back to this place and so won't the people I know. They want customers they like on the criteria I do not understand! What...

We had the pumpkin curry soup, tartare, children's schnitzel and pasta, ricotta ravioli and the cottage burger.
Everything was perfectly cooked and pretty tasty. My wife thought the tartare was just ok but it was well presented. The soup was great, never had that combination before. The burger was honestly very good and fresh tasting. Meat was nicely grilled. The ravioli was flavorful but a bit stiff, we weren't expecting grapes in there either but it was a nice touch.
The kids meals were really fresh and the kids loved it. You can tell they put the same quality as with the regular plates.
The bottle of Prosecco was exactly what we needed and nice and chilled.
Overall I'd come here again for sure and would like to try the breakfast.
For the price, it's not the cheapest but it had...
Read moreGreat breakfast options and big portions. I ordered the Parisian baguette with ham and brie cheese and was pleasantly surprised to find it had been toasted with butter first. It's a heavy dish, but deeply satisfying - we ordered scrambled eggs on the side to share and it was a good thing too, because we would've been positively stuffed if both of us had ordered eggs. My girlfriend had the vegan porridge and was very satisfied with it as well. While the prices are not on the cheap side, what you get is finest quality food and expertly prepared. The staff was very friendly and the style of the café with it's mural on the wall is modern chic, which I personally liked a lot. After breakfast we took some slices of pie home with us that were nothing short of excellent. Both the cheesecake and the chocolate tarte were absolutely...
