I absolutely love Das House Café in Vienna! It’s honestly one of the most unique and heart-warming cafés I’ve ever visited. What makes this place truly special is its adorable resident cats. They freely roam around the café, nap on cozy cushions, and sometimes curiously approach guests. As a cat lover, this felt like a little slice of heaven. Even if you’re not a cat owner yourself, the relaxed and playful atmosphere they create instantly makes you smile. On top of that, there are so many small cat-themed decorations and details throughout the space – from artwork on the walls to cute figurines – which give the entire café a warm and inviting character.

During my visit, I tried their apricot cake, and it was absolutely delicious – soft, fresh, and perfectly balanced in flavor. I also ordered a coffee, which turned out to be one of the best I’ve had in Vienna so far: rich aroma, smooth taste, and beautifully served. Everything from the presentation to the quality felt thoughtful.

The interior décor of the café is stylish yet cozy, with lots of natural light and little touches that make every corner Instagram-worthy. There’s also a lovely outdoor seating area which is perfect for sunny days or cool evenings if you prefer some fresh air.

Overall, I highly recommend Das House Café to anyone looking for a calm, charming spot with great coffee and desserts. If you’re a cat lover, you’ll fall in love instantly, but even if you just want a peaceful, welcoming place to relax, this café will leave you with a smile and a...

A hidden gem close to Mariahilfer Straße where you can enjoy good coffee, drinks and possibly meet some cats. When we first went there, we ordered coffee which is really good (they have oatmilk for vegan option) and it even comes with cat spoons! At first we didn’t see any cats because they probably stayed in another room but after a hour or so one cat came out and jumped on all the tables, eager to meet all the guests and collect some gentle strokes. The best moment was definitely when the same cat lied down behind me! Compared to other cat cafés, I think this one really cares about the wellbeing of their cats and not just have them for the public. The cats can leave and go anywhere anytime they want and are not forced to spend time with the guests if they don’t want to. After searching them on insta later, I noticed that all (or most I’m not sure) of the cats are adoptable which is such a cute way of finding a new home for...
