We had recently arrived in Vienna and were hungry and looking for a place to eat. I found this place and luckily they had free tables. The staff is very kind, polite & funny, nothing to complain about. The food was tasty and affordable. My husband had the traditional schnitzel and said it was very delicious. I chose a dish with pork meat, it was good. However, the atmosphere of the place is unpleasant. It's full of men who are there to drink beer and watch sports shows on TV. After several days of searching for authentic and classical local dishes, we finally stumble upon one thankfully before we leave Vienna.

I’d recommend the Schweinsbraten which is a joint of pork roasted in a shallow broth. The pork was tender with balanced seasoning to bring out the flavour of the meat. It completes with kraut or sour cabbage and the traditional ball-like bread-based knödel or dumpling.

Also recommended is the chicken schnitzel with a generous cut of chicken breast, unlike the other touristy establishments with more breadcrumbs than meat.
