Coffee and Beard — Restaurant in Vienna

Looks like im the only hater here, but I just didn’t enjoy my visit. For a specialty coffee shop with a 5* rating, i had high expectations, unfortunately it turned out the pics posted here are heavily edited/outdated and the interior was all over the place, not sleek or cozy at all (apart from the bar). My biggest problem was the espresso, which was a complete disappointment. I ordered a cortado expecting a funky/fruity taste and instead i got an italian-style overroasted coffee. ig there were 2 options to pick from but I didn’t know that, and the barista didn’t ask for my preference. I would get it with like a latte or something, but cortado is something you order when you want to experience the rich taste...

The coffee at Coffee & Beard is extremely delicious. I particularly love their latte with oat milk - such a walnutty flavor! During COVID times, Coffee & Beard is still open for take-away. They encourage you to bring your own mug (and they never judge you no matter how old or hideous it is 😂), but they also have old mugs you can borrow if you forgot to bring your own. Such a fantastic idea and a great way to minimize waste! If you’re not into coffee, they also offer fresh herbal tea, hot chocolate, vegan muffins etc. The owner is such a nice guy, it’s always good to chat with him. Definitely drop...

Guys are just fantastic there!😍👏🏻 The best service and the attitude I've seen in a while! We came there just to grab some quick breakfast and coffee and felt like we are visiting good friends with great sense of humour! There were many locals enjoying their coffee and breakfast there. The whole vibe is super friendly and pleasant (not sugary one, just perfect as their coffee).
