I recently had lunch at OTTO, and unfortunately, it was far from enjoyable. I ordered a Mixed Grill with fries and a mixed salad, but the quality of the food was very disappointing. The sausage looked and tasted odd, and the mustard had a strange flavor. As for the salad, it was utterly disgusting – it looked and tasted like something you'd feed to pigs.
On top of that, the cleanliness of the restaurant was unacceptable. There was animal hair (possibly from a dog or cat) on the table, under the table, and even on my chair. For a restaurant, this is simply inexcusable.
The bizarre restroom access system added to the negative experience. To use the bathroom, you had to get a coin from the reception, insert it into a machine that automatically opened the door, and then you received a receipt – though I never figured out what to do with it.
Overall, the food was overpriced, the hygiene standards were poor, and the restroom system was unnecessarily complicated. I definitely...
Read moreWe went there with a group of friends from the USA, the atmoshere was kinda drab from the beginning, the weiter who served us, gave the impression of being bored and ironic in an unfanny way. Most of the clients seemed to be local, retired people, behaving like they are surprised some other people are allowed to sit there as well. Maybe it was just a weird day, but the feeling we are not very welcome just remained. We could not get breakfast at 11 am anymore, and the waiter said it is already lunch time. The desserts were mediocre, my friends opted for classic Schnizel, which was okay. Food: typical Austrian cuisine. Prices are rather high, coffee simply not good. The overall experience was: okay, not a place to come again. It is a pity, as it is nicely located in a beautiful...
Read moreWent there twice and every time we were served by nice, friendly and supportive personnel. Their English speaking level was good and the explanations or recommendations were given to us with a smile on their face. The food was good, especially the Old traditional Viennese beef soup- big pot, for two persons at least- ( to which I give 5 stars ! ) and the beef with sauce and rice ( forgot the name:( ). The downside of the food we’ve ordered ( we were a group of 5) was the salad which was not that fresh as you could see the cucumbers sitting for quite a while in the pot. They have a terrace and can accommodate bigger groups by uniting the tables which is again a plus. The prices are not that low not not to high either. Conclusion: is a place to visit if...
