Pitawerk — Restaurant in Vienna

If you want to taste original authentic "pita" from Bosnia and you don't want to travel to Bosnia - just come to Pita Werk in Vienna.

I can surely say that there is no difference in Pita's here or if you were in homeland of pita's in Bosnia. We tried every pita in their Menu and everything tasted so delicious and authentic like you were in Sarayevo Bosnia.

The service was good too so in total we had a pleasant visit to Pita Werk and enjoyed pita. Whenever I am back in beautiful city of Vienna I will be back to Pita Werk.

I have to mention that place itself is very small inside yet cozy. They have a cute terrace outside but inside is very small. Hope that will change in near future and that owners can get and move to a bigger space restaurant because looking at the amount of people that is coming to eat,...

5 stars is not enough for the service we experienced today. The waitress who served us today, the girl from Bos. Brod (We forgot the ask the name),was so NICE, KIND, POSITIVE & FRIENDLY! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was just like in Bosnia. As someone who is coming from Sarajevo, I can assure you that you will eat authentic Bosnian Pie here. The prices are very reasonable, and the selection is great. Yogurt was proper liquid balkan yogurt which we really missed (there is no liquid yogurt where I live now), so we were very happy to enjoy pitas on proper way! We are coming back for sure! This place offers Serbian pita, which is basically a big roll of puff pastry like dough ( not as brittle) filled with spinach, cheese, potato or meat coiled in a round shape. They sell it by portion ( the equivalent of a large pizza slice) for 3e something. You can eat it there ( they only have one or two tables, this is not really a restaurant) or have it to go.
