I have a very mixed opinion of this hotel. This is not 4* hotel, it's 3* at best. The location is excellent. If one needs attend venue in Rathaus this is the best one, just few minutes away. But this is where best part ends. There's no room service in the hotel, only little corner by the reception where you can get coffee or some alcohol. Breakfast is available in the morning of quite limited choice, same things every morning, It's not worth the price unless its included in the room rate. Hotel website claims that hotel had refurbishment finished in August, but in Decemeber it still looks like it's not finished, with around 25% left to be done. Quality of workmanship is questionable, feels like bunch of low skilled workers were employed to do the job. Lift doors are not painted with sanded patches all over it. We booked suit and when arrived at 14:45 were told that room is not ready, check-in time is 15:00. We got into our room at 15:50. How is it, that the most expensive room, not ready on time. This is beoyond my comprehension. This is like telling business class passenger that he needs to wait until all economy boards the plane. Room is spacious with high and decorated ceiling. Wooden wall coverings next to windows cracked and were forgotten during refurbishmnet. Windows on one side has got double glazing, the orther side is dual but with two single windows. No gap insulation between window and the frame, cold air gets in with no issue. Room is heated adequately with big heaters, but some half smart, unfortunate human being, decided to put termostatic valve, instead of simple manual valve, which is right next to cold air coming in. The issue with this arrangement is that thermostatic valve wants to stay open all the time, because its not fully opens the running hot water noise is bit too much in the night. If valve is fully opened manually , the noise almost nonexistent, but it can get bit hot and stuffy in the night. Front door has got big gap with door frame on one side. Bathroom has got new sanitary ware, whoever was doing tiles has got issue with angles and the lengths, Dividing wall between toilet and basin is not 90 degrees with main wall, looks like someone was drunk when doing it. Tiles length next to heater is not cut to size, feels like whatever was left will do it for them. Ceiling not fully painted with new paint everywhere, there's a white square flap that was painted probably 15 years ago that started yellowing, for some reason was left untouched, together with downlights that were left from old good days.... And the best for last: There's a capsule coffee machine and kettle, the only issue is... there's no socket can be seen to plug that kettle in :) :) :) To summarise: if one can book room cheaply, it's a decent hotel, for the full asking price...

This was our first trip to Vienna and we can't say enough about this property and staff. We chose this hotel based on location and pictures on our booking website. The hotel is centrally located in the Innerstadt and is walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and tourist hot-spots. Our six night September 8th stay got off to the best of starts when we were warmly greeted by Ananda at check in. The nicest man, he was very professional and helpful. He got us checked in quickly, explaining everything, and ensured we were happy with our room. Gave us a rundown on the hotel and room, leaving us with no questions! When we dame back down he provided recommendations on where to eat, leading us to have a superb meal nearby. Our room was superb! We were in a 4th floor suite with great views, a very comfortable bed (yes, two mattresses on a large box spring frame - typical European style), large approximately 50" Samsung TV, in a spacious room with a couch, two chairs, and coffee table along with two nooks, one with a deck and chair, the other with a comfortable chair and table. The bathroom had a comfort height toilet, stand up shower and a separate tub , with double sinks (was great for getting ready in the morning). The room also had tons of cupboard and closet space, safe, hairdryer, tea/coffee maker, and excellent wifi. One of the most luxurious rooms I have ever stayed in (we saw other rooms during our stay. Some were smaller at cheaper rates, but all looked clean and comfortable), along with very efficient and helpful staff. Would highly recommend this hotel, but treat yourself to the suites...

Having stayed for over 20 years in various Radisson hotels worldwide, this hotel did not meet our expectations of what is usually 4 or 5 star Radisson standard, or 3 star standard at Park Inn. We booked 2 Premium rooms and the standard would have been higher in a Travelodge in terms of facilities, space and decor - and at a fraction of the price. One room had a coffee machine and a kettle, one had just a kettle, both with limited supplies of tea and coffee - no biscuits. One room had a (generous) fruit bowl, the other had a plate with 2 pieces on it. One room had water, the other had none, although water was given when asked for. However during the stay none of these were replenished by Room Service, it seems that what is there has to last. One room did not have a shower mat, neither had a bath. Worse, however, this hotel is only Bed and Breakfast (although this is not made clear) - there is no hot food available either as a bar meal or as room service and breakfast includes "fresh fruits, crispy pastries, delicious cakes or strudels and other regional products". After a day travelling it would be nice to have a hot meal in and not have to go exploring the local area for something to eat. |In summary - if we were not expecting Radisson quality, this hotel would probably been acceptable, it was clean (recently refurbished, although difficult to tell) and the staff were respectful. However in future we will ensure that we stay in a...

We booked the hotel room well in time last year, before going to Vienna in February. We wanted to stay at the Hotel, because it was very close to the parliament building and the town hall. Upon our arrival, we were told straight away that there is no room for us. The staff also claimed that the Radisson booking staff had reached out to us, which they had not (neither by phone nor by mail, nor booking.com where the booking was made). After waiting 15 minutes, we then had to take a cab (at least it was organized by the hotel staff) to another hotel in the center. We were told by the Rathausparkhotel staff that the room in the other hotel would be of the same or even better standard like the one we originally booked. We couldn't confirm that initially, because the first room in the other hotel looked like straight from the 80s, with a bathroom that looked like you were at a coroner's office, and a not so well aged heating (I added some photos). Also a clothes moth greeted us as we opened the wardrobe. Luckily, the staff at the other hotel then relocated us during the night to another room and everything was fine. However, due to the incompetent handling by the Rathausparkhotel staff/group, we lost valuable time on our 2 day stay in Vienna.
