Vienna Wirtshaus — Restaurant in Vienna

Very small place in Wien. We arrived by chance because we booked an apartment close to the place and our kids were hungry. A little menu of typical food but great atmosphere and people! They were very warm especially with our kids. They don't speak English but make all effort to understand. Food was good and price the same. They offered ice creams to our kids and invited us to choose some Italian songs from a modern version of juke box. We ended up singing and dancing! Really recommended! Thank you from the Italian...

Fresh off the train and in need of our first dinner out in Vienna and s’Wirtshaus popped up on maps. Saw the big portion sizes on a review and said say less! The food was priced very fairly and we left the restaurant soooooo full (like it’d be quicker to roll us home rather than walk), the food was amazing and would highly recommend the pork schnitzel with a side of the salad. Service was excellent with the waiter checking in on us and spoke great English too! We will be back but need time to recover from...

If you're looking for Austrian cuisine close to the historic center but much more affordable, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is truly local, the food is excellent, the lady serving us was absolutely wonderful, and the owner was incredibly kind and friendly, making us feel like VIPs.
