Summary: Worst service we had in Vienna, waiters are not trained to hospitality standards. Pizza tastes nice but horribly priced.

Long review:

Although we came with a reservation and asked ahead of seating if dogs were ok, we got a horrible experience. For some reason it took over 20 minutes to take a first order of drinks or food.

The staff was particularly unwelcome, and sprayed cleaning detergent on and around our dog which made the sitting area smell like a freshly washed toilet.

Although the pizza was nice, portions are quite small for their original price. Burata seemed to be a contemporary idea of serving it with unroasted (pine)nuts and earthy beetroot sauce. The restaurant was busy and the waiters could not handle this. Especially as they were also expected to do bar, and all tables, and parts of prepping desserts. Can't blame them for giving bad service when overworked through horrible processes.

We ordered through the Fork as we received a discount and were keen to tryout a new place. For some reason, that was not mentioned ahead of order, half the menu is not included in the Fork discount as it's already "discounted" (menu shows 10.99, striped through, billed at 9.99). When confronted the staff says it's "normal", and we're expected to pay full.

Visibly displeased when we stood our ground that we did not plan to pay full as we had a discount agreed before the meal. As stupid as this price difference was (less than 5EUR) the waiter kept intending that we should just pay up. After visibly wanting to get rid of us, she told us she did not care about the restaurant as it was not hers and we should leave a bad review after we paid in full.

We insisted not to pay in full due to principles, and due to the unwelcome behavior. After being pushed to overphone call with the owner twice, they finally adjusted the 5 euro difference and passively aggressive told us not to come back (as like we would even want to).

Like said before, it's hard to blame the waiters when the issue clearly lays at the owners deceiving practices and inefficient processes. Would not recommend to go here, although the pizza itself was...

I had the worst experience ever at this place. After my friend and I were seated, I went to the restroom and asked the waitress (who otherwise looked nice) to give me a few minutes to choose something from the menu. After we ordered, it took her about 20 minutes just to bring the two colas we had asked for. When I asked about them, she told me it would take a bit, so I ended up taking the drinks myself from the bartender. When she finally brought our pizzas, she was very rude, saying that first comes first. Apparently that means I should sit there thirsty until she feels like coming to the table, even though she only had two other tables with two people each. I asked her what first comes first was supposed to mean and whether we were really expected to wait until the food came to get our drinks. I also asked what I should do if I am very thirsty and do not mind picking up my own drinks, since it seemed like too much trouble for her. After that she ended her shift, and the colleague who replaced her was even ruder. I asked for the bill because I just wanted to leave, but she did not bring mine. She only brought my friend’s bill and told me that if I wanted to pay, I had to go to the counter. When I told her that in Europe customers are supposed to be presented with the bill, she threatened me with the police. I told her she was free to call them. On top of everything, they brought me the wrong pizza. I had ordered a salami pizza, but mine had no salami at all. By then I did not even bother complaining because I just wanted to get out of that place and never come back. I have never experienced such unprofessional and hostile service in my life. They treat customers terribly, and I honestly wish good luck to anyone who goes there and tries...

What an odd experience at Wolke. When we asked if coming with dog is okay, they confirmed it is, we arrived sat down, dog was laying down. We travel a lot with our dog, go to “fancy places” and it’s important to note we came to their establishment right after visiting Cafe Central, what Im trying to say is that our dog is well taken care of and don’t carry wild dog odors. Perhaps 5min after sitting down waitress came with the TOILET spray, no joke, and started spraying all over the restaurant, and cheery on top she walked behind my back so I didn’t see her at first but she sprayed on my dog, laughed and walked away. I completely understand if you don’t want dogs in your establishment, but to welcome them and then spray toilet spray on them can even be toxic, let alone poor people around coughing from all that spray.

Pizza was extremely mediocre, cheap on toppings, dry. Our Buratta salad was very odd, the flavors were not balanced well, presentation was weird as well, trying to imitate “fancy” techniques but clearly the textures were not meant to be plated like such.

Cherry on top was when they tried pulling off oldest trick in the book of discount scams. Our reservation was via fork, they sneakily put most of their items on the regural menu as “discounted” by few euros, and at the checkout they claim, well we cannot give fork discount to the item that was already discounted. Well it’s not communicated anywhere on the menu on the t&c of reservation nor the waiter verbally warns you. So if you are making fork reservations be aware that only few items on the menu are...

Instagram Trap I really wanted to like this place, our daughter found it online. It’s beautifully designed and decorated, no doubt about it. It’s photo worthy, the menu is creative on the vegetarian, vegan side. It calls itself “A Revolution in Pizza”. It’s very popular in social media. It’s also comparatively very expensive. I ordered additional ham for my pizza and that was a staggering €6.5 up charge! The total bill for 3 pizzas was, no wine or beer €70 (83$ USD)! They looked beautiful. Here is the problem: it was literally the blandest, most tasteless, lacking flavor pizza I’ve ever had, yet good ingredients were used? Even some salt in the dough would have helped. The service: it was professional, but lacked any kind of warmth, personality or vibe. I rarely rate restaurants hard, but when charging such prices, the bar is far higher than street food in all aspects. I can even tolerate less than stellar service when the food is spectacular. I have zero issues paying a lot for food: as long as it’s very good! But it wasn’t: there are far, far better pizza options in Vienna, and for a much lower price. Ultimately I always base it on the criteria: would I return? No. Was it a good value for the money? No.

Been there twice already, once for brunch and then for dinner. Brunch was absolutely delicious, we were four people and we were served a gorgeous composition of fruits, hummus and other dips, banana bread and other sweet cakes. I was worried it wouldn't suffice for the whole table, but in the end we barely finished everything! I also got a drink (gin and basil), and would totally recommend it. Dinner was just as amazing: they offer so many unique pizzas, it was kinda hard to decide which one to order. They also offer vegan and you can add meat if you're not vegetarian, but all the flavors are so well-matched, you really don't want to "ruin" them by adding some prosciutto or salami. The dough was also amazing, soft and not too salty - as Italian in Vienna, I guarantee that it's not to be taken for granted. Nice touch, served with scissors, authentic Italian style. I see what you did there, and I appreciate you 😉 Unfortunately, the dessert gets the only "negative" feedback: maybe it was an unlucky night, but the choice was very limited and the vegan blueberry cake was nothing special. But maybe the pizza was so good, I had too high expectations 😋 Anyway, 5/5.
