We have been there for Dinner.
Quality of Food: * Qualitiy of Service* hence avg.*
We ordered starters and a main dish. the food is amazing. but don't go there if you are hungry. it took about 30 minutes from ordering to the starters being served. we were a tabel with 4 people. we ordered two salads and one soup as a starter. there were only two people in the kitchen and about 6-8 people entering the restaurant at our time. the restaurant hast a total space for about 20 people. it is a mystery to me what can take so lang to prepare a little salad. and i suppose the soup is already cooked. the portion size of the salad is what one would expect. the size of soup was - considering price - too small. a couple of spoons maybe and the soup was gone.
for the main dishes we had to wait another 30 minutes. so from ordering to getting the main dish not less than an hour passed. sizes of the dishes: for sushi as one would expect. the dish with fried chicken in my opinion way to small (unfortunately nobody thought of taking pictures). the size of the dish with duck was ok. the size of the dish with chicken, octopus surimi and something else was also a bit small. not as small as the chicken but nothing big enough to not be hungry after eating.
the quality of tase for all food was really really good. the waitress didn't pay much attention to our table and seemed a bit slow in general. we told we wanted to pay and she didn't bring the bill for about 10min. the table next to us asked for the bill after us and she brought the bill immedeatly and cashed them out before us.
summary. if you have a lot of time and you are not too hungry and you don't care if service is bad, it is a really good place to enjoy good quality food. if you want to have friendly service and just go grab some food quickly it is...
Read moreGreat place for romantic dinners, small circles of friends, and foodies to try out delicious food. I've visited once a month for the last 3 months or more with my girlfriend and Yido has become one of our favourite places to visit in Vienna. The prices are great and the fish is fresh. They have traditional meals but also modern ones (special rolls), both are great to try. I really like their Gentleman's platter with spring rolls, Jasmin tea and seafood pancake. I am salivating just thinking about it and I ate there this week... I think the restaurant is family owned and the staff is super nice and friendly. Some tables have a nice view. Because the restaurant is small, and the kitchen is open, you'll smell the food strongly (especially when frying takes place) however, they have good ventilation and the air clears...
Read moreFantastic Asian food and ambiance in this cute little spot near Julius-Tandler Platz. I had the red curry with beef and it was absolutely delicious! My colleagues also tried the mango duck, bulgogi, and the honey chicken dishes, all of which were amazing. The staff are friendly, attentive, gracious and welcoming, and the wine / beer selection is very good as well.
I honestly couldn’t ‘t recommend this hidden gem more - also, I’m not 100% positive but I believe that it is a family owned business, run and operated by women— all the more...
