This is A Flavorful Delight for Indian Vegetarians- Eggless Pesto Spaghetti Done Right!
Pizzeria Giuseppe is a hidden gem for vegetarians and Indians who dont eat eggs. Since finding vegetarian and eggless food is a tough ask in Zellam See, St Gilgen, Obertraun or Vienna, I was super happy by finding lots of vegetarian eggless restaurants in a span of 50 metres in Zellam See.
From the moment we stepped in, the courteous staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and informed us about their eggless offerings, including pizza, pasta, and more.
With a craving for pasta, I decided to try their vegetarian spaghetti pesto, which they assured me was prepared without eggs. The dish arrived promptly, and I must say, it was a burst of flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied.
The pesto spaghetti itself was cooked to perfection, with the pasta noodles retaining just the right amount of bite. The pesto sauce was rich, vibrant, and packed with the distinctive flavors of fresh basil and olive oil. It was a delightful symphony of tastes that complemented the pasta beautifully.
However, if you are an Indian, you will truly love the Parmesan cheese served along side, and adding lots of black pepper to it.
What truly elevated the dish was the additional touch of parmesan cheese and crushed peppers. The parmesan cheese, served alongside the spaghetti, added a creamy, nutty dimension to the dish. Sprinkling it generously over the spaghetti created a delightful interplay of flavors, enhancing every mouthful. To add a touch of heat, I reached for the crushed peppers provided on the table. The gentle kick of spice it added brought the flavors to a whole new level. It allowed me to customize the dish according to my preference, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
The fact that goes the extra mile to cater to the vegetarian community, offering a variety of eggless options, including pizza and pasta, deserves commendation.
Their dedication to understanding the dietary requirements of Indian vegetarians is truly appreciated.
Throughout our visit, the staff remained courteous and attentive, ensuring our needs were met. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere that contributed to the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, is a haven for Indian vegetarians seeking a delightful culinary adventure. Their eggless pesto spaghetti, complemented by the indulgent parmesan cheese and crushed peppers, is a memorable dish that caters to a range of tastes. I highly recommend trying their vegetarian offerings, as their commitment to quality and attention to detail are truly...
Read moreI visited this restaurant with my sister, and we ordered two veal schnitzels — one plain and one with fries. It was my first time trying schnitzel, and I must say the food itself was very good. The meat was tender, the coating was delicious, and the cranberry jam, while unusual to me, paired surprisingly well. The fries were crisp and properly salted. However, my experience was overshadowed by the staff’s attitude. At first, I entered from the back and asked an employee if we could order. He told me, rather curtly, “No, we’re closed right now and will open at 5 PM.” Later, when I was directed to the proper front entrance, I encountered the same employee again. I explained that I wanted to dine in with my sister, and he responded by saying: “But she needs to take this off her face first, because it’s illegal in our country.” The way he said this felt less like a neutral reminder of local law and more like a racial or religious remark. Even if the law exists, it is not the role of restaurant staff to enforce it. That is the responsibility of the authorities, not private businesses. I have visited many other restaurants and cafés across Austria and never faced such an issue. This employee’s comment and tone left a very negative impression on what could have been an otherwise enjoyable meal. On top of that, I found the pricing to be unreasonable. The plain veal dish cost €24, which felt overpriced — in my view, €18 would have been a fairer value for what was served. After the employee’s remarks, I no longer felt comfortable dining in and had to switch my order to takeout, only to be charged an additional €4 for the packaging. This extra fee, under the circumstances, felt...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I ordered a vegan gluten free vegetariana pizza and a gluten free hawai pizza for takeaway. It totalled to a whopping 41.50 euro, 50 cents above the indicated menu prices which were already extraordinarily expensive. However we maintained hope as it is difficult for us to find meals, as I am vegan and we are both coeliac, so we wanted to give one of the very few options in the area a go. Our pizza arrived after about 10 minutes where we were shocked by the small size and lack of toppings but again maintained hope that it would at least taste good but we were unfortunately beaten down and disappointed on all fronts as it didn’t taste good at all, especially for the price of it, and I ended up feeling sick after it. Just to add to our disappointment the service of the waiters was rude and solely focussed on trying to make as much money as possible instead of focussing on a good customer experience, demonstrated by the fact that when we initially received our pizzas we decided to eat a few slices at the restaurant just to see how it tasted and we were kicked off the table by staff who said it was for dine in customers only even though we were still full paying customers. Consequently, I would personally never go back there again and strongly recommend AGAINST going to Giuseppe’s and supporting a company and staff culture of that kind, extremely...
